The clacking of boots echoes throughout the desolate room. The scene begins with Katniss Evergreen stepping into a totally isolated, yet transparent room. Our protagonist, along with the 23 other tributes, is given an opportunity to display her skills in preparation for round two of the infamously gruesome Hunger Games.
She is alone in her thoughts, but her actions are being observed from every angle. The threat introduces itself, as virtual adversaries incessantly materialize into the enclosed space. Katniss begins to dispatch several, with seemingly scarce effort. To her dismay, their skill, resilience, and persistence progressively increase. Soon enough, she is forced to wait for openings, narrowly dodge whizzing projectiles, and one in
