High profile case I will be talking about is the D.C sniper killings Lee Boyd Malvo and John Allen Muhammad. The due that uses a .223 caliber bushmaster xm15 sniper rifle, they stole and made a sniper nest within their car. The first killing took place on October 2, 2002, in Aspen Hill, into a Michaels craft store where nobody killed nor injured. Then an hour later, they killed a victim in a grocery store parking lot. Before October 24, 2002, they were shooting victims, doing their routines like at the gas station, store, and so forth. They continued doing, these random killing on the beltway until the 24 of October. When they surrounded in caught, from by law enforcement who got a tip by a motorist in the rest stop they seen at in total, they shot 13 victims but killed ten of them. Their sentence was John Muhammad sentenced, to death and executed. Lee Boyd Malvo sentenced to multiple life sentences because they have done shooting in other states (CNN, 2015).
John Muhammad the evil mastermind behind, the D.C. sniper-shooting plan was broken down into phases. The first was to map and planned to practice around the D.C location so that they will be able to get away quickly to their set escape routine. To the next area when they did their shootings John Allen Muhammad, wanted to kill six victims a day. He wanted to use explosives on the school, buses school, etc. Next, phase ten million dollars from, the United States government by extorting it. Therefore, that he can go towards Canadian to recruit orphans, to train them with weaponry to carry out orders of mass killings all over the United States (JOHN KREISER, 2015).
The reason I think to understand why the D.C. sniper did, these horrible crimes are with the social learning theory. Because before John Allen Muhammad, could go through with his entire evil plan. He first needs the orphan soldier ones; he could persuade and control to do what he wants. The reason Lee Boyd Malvo did the criminal activities, because John was like a father figure/ friend. He wanted to spend time training him as he was in the military, strict diet, and teaching how to shoot like a sniper. He was always around John Muhammad all the time and lived with him so talking about killing, shooting and training like in the military as such. It is something John talked, about, did, and was teaching him how to do the same. All the time because Lee Boyd Malvo parents were not around, and he did not have friends, as well, so he would do anything John Allen Muhammad wanted (JOHN KREISER, 2015).
Yes, the gaps in my theory do not explain the reason did John Allen Muhammad get out of killing the victims, in the crime and why he only uses the Lee Boyd Malvo. The sense of shooting random people issues triggered both John and Lee to commit these crimes for in the locations they pick out. As well, why to get orphans; from Canada train those in weaponry travel the country to do mass shootings. Within the United States what rather affect that, he was trying to cause around the world. With doing a plot as such and what was the result, if he completed this plan.
If possible, if I could modify my theory I would add people self-interest for committing criminal activity. If they are doing the criminal activity because of the rules and regulations, society puts up. Because they in power and have control to come up with what is a criminal act or not. They have a mental illness; chemistry is off within their brains than other people. Then I would discover they associated with family members or peers that only like them or only wanted to be around them if they did something that was criminal. In addition, when do they realize that the criminal behavior that they are doing is causing them more harm than good and will they ever change it.

I spend almost an entire lecture talking about the problems inherent in drawing causal inferences in the social sciences. I do this mostly through the agricultural yield, return to education, and crime examples. These examples also contrast experimental and nonexperimental data. Students studying business and finance tend to find the term structure of interest rates example more relevant, although the issue there is testing the implication of a simple theory, as opposed to inferring causality. Purpose: To evaluate the evidence about the risks and benefits of mammography screening for women 40 to 49 years of age. Data Sources: English-language publications in MEDLINE (1966 – 2005), Pre-MEDLINE, and the Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials and references of selected studies through May 2005. Study Selection: Previous systematic reviews; randomized, controlled trials; and observational studies. Data Extraction: Two independent reviewers. Data Synthesis: In addition to publications from the original mammography trials, 117 studies were included in the review. Metaanalyses of randomized, controlled trials demonstrate a 7% to 23% reduction in breast cancer mortality rates with screening mammography in women 40 to 49 years of age. Screening mammography is associated with an increased risk for mastectomy but a decreased risk for adjuvant chemotherapy and hormone therapy.
