Daily Notes Nov. 8th – 14th
Monday 11/8: DL had a very good day today. There were no real issues; she followed the schedule that was planned out by the teacher with very little interruptions or disturbances. Lastly we have been working on DL staying with the group and asking for breaks whenever she is feeling frustrated, and I am happy to say that she is responding very well to the change.
Tuesday 11/9: CPR-All staff meeting, no school today.
Wednesday 11/10: Today was another successful day with DL. HO and I have been working on numerous things with DL, and one of the big things is having DL slow down with any task that is she doing, more specifically eating. We have made signs and give DL constant reminders to slow down, and over the pas couple of weeks, DL is really starting to slow down. No major events happened today just a …show more content…
He had a snack and then we went to the learning center, where we met his sister and they played until the mother arrived. There was a little issue, the learning center is an after school daycare for children that attend the school next door. I taken JW there before but we didn’t stay inside like we did today. I told JW that we can see if they want to come outside and play, but he refused and said that I will just ask the teacher if it was okay to stay. She said it was fine, so I just sat there and observed his interactions with some of the other kids in the learning center. Everything went okay, but I was concerned about having JW stay and play in the learning center because he in no registered to be there. I bought this up with JW mom and went over some expectations with here and JW about if we should go to the learning center, and we came up with: 1) It is okay for us to go there and ask if some of the kids with come out and play, but it is not okay for JW to stay and play inside the learning center. 2) It is also okay for JW to play with the kids in the
