...suffocating. Something was stuck in my throat and it hurt. I tried to scream but couldn?t. Around I heard loads of noise then. ?Call the doctor, she?s awake? then more commotion. I tried to move and my body wouldn?t let me. My stomach felt strange aswell. What was going on? I was talking to Marcus then he went away. I wanted him back. I needed him back. I don?t know how long later, but I was sitting up, with the help of loads of pillows, the tube gone from my throat and my throat still hurting. The doctors looked at me with some next looks. I wondered why they were looking at me like that. ?Can I see?? I tried to say but the words wouldn?t come out. ?You?ll find it hard to talk for a bit, take this? the nurse said and handed me a note book and pen. I scribbled furiously asking for water and Cubbz. The nurse took the sheet nodded and left. I don?t know how long but doctors and nurses kept going in and out, promising to make me see him as soon as they?d finished all their tests to check my brain and what not. What I really wanted to know was why my belly felt weird. Like something was growing in it. It felt so awkward. I knew I wasn?t pregnant because I couldn?t be? so what the hell? Maybe they?d put metal in my belly. The more I thought about it the more things made sense. Maybe I damaged some organs and they had to be replaced. I nodded because it made sense. Some next guys walked in. They weren?t my family. I groaned. Who where these people? My question was soon answered. ?Good...

...and his rich dad is Mike‟s, his best friend, father. Both have their own perspective about money and both have different principles in life. As a kid, Robert wanted to know how to get rich because they were tired of other kids not wanting to play with them because they were 'poor kids'. His educated dad told him to learn how to make money. Since he was still a kid that time, he and his best friend Mike came up with a plan of literally making their own money. His educated dad and suggested to seek for Mike‟s father, his rich dad, help because he, himself, doesn‟t know how to make money. This is the start of their journey to becoming rich. Lesson #3: Mind Your Own Business Lesson #4: The History of Taxes and the Power of Corporations Lesson #5: The Rich Invent Money Lesson #6: Work to Learn – Don‟t Work for Money The Rich Don’t Work for Money This chapter shows why the poor and middle class don‟t get rich. Their fear of having no money at all cause them to stay in their jobs and not wanting to risk what they have. But it is not how the rich play their game. They let money work for them meaning they build their own „systems‟ then let those parts of the system do their work. For example...

...Living Apart Together (LAT) 1) There is this concept called Living Apart Together (LAT), it´s a new trend spreading among couples all over the world. The idea of this trend is making a relationship over a long distance while not seeing each other. There is a lot of benefits with this concept, you don´t have to live with your “other half’s” stupid hobbies etc. You both decide where to live, and some says that it gives you an opportunity of being away from the stressed couple life, where LAT gives you an opportunity to being away from your partner. In this way you don´t get tired or irritated by your partner, you don´t have to deal with these problems some couples living together are dealing with every day. The second text we are introduced to is called “Home Alone Together” (May 4, 2006) an article by The New York Times. Professor David Popenoe, is against the concept “Living Apart Together”, as he says: “Younger couples often turn to L.A.T. arrangements after failed marriages, particularly if there af children involved.” He says it´s because they are not ready to have a baby, or is just not ready to commit to a long life relationship. Ms. Hess 61 years old, believes it could save a lot of breakups and in that case a lot of pain, she believes that people try to fit into a very narrow model for long terms relationship that may never work out. She says: “Many people are trying to fit themselves into a very narrow for long-term relationships that does not work for their...

...population in Slovakia are unemployed. In some places (for example : Orava, Čadca) it´s 24 percent because there are small companies and these companies offer job for few people. In Orava are the largest companies : Johnson Controls, MTS, Panasonic or Hydac but these companies aren´t big as some companies in some big cities, which means that only some people have job there. People must look for some job abroad. The most popular places for work among slovak people are : the Czech republik, Austria, England and nowadays Norway, too. People have been working in this country for a two weeks and than they go home. A second reason, why people work abroad is, that the work abroad is better paid. They do the same work as in our country, but they have a higher salary. Work abroad has lots of advantages. For example, when you work as au-pair you can know some habits in the family where you work. You can make new friends and when you want to learn some foreign language, the work abroad and live abroad is the best way how to do it. Because you have to use language in this country. ...Coaches sign six figure deals with shoe companies, like Nike, Reebok, Converse, and the players are the ones wearing the shoes and jerseys, the coaches have on whatever they want. Even though just recently the NCAA Committee allowed athletes to get a job; between schoolwork, and practices, they don"t have enough time to find a job. Most of the kids come from poor backgrounds, and don"t have enough money to do normal college things, like going out to eat, going on a date, or out to the movies. People believe that paying college athletes will ruin the tradition and innocence of the game. However, people forget that Olympians get paid, and most of them are amateur athletes. "Gold medallists from the United States receive a minimum of $15,000 for their success (from the U.S. Olympic Committee and the national governing body of the winner's sport), USA Today, Final Ed." These Olympians can also capitalize on endorsement deals and other additional bonuses, most of which are illegal in college athletics. The innocence of the game is already in jeopardy, in a June 24th, 1996 issue of The NCAA News, " Studies indicate that 75 percent of underclassmen have received cash or gifts from an agent." That"s a pretty high number, three out of every four are involved in illegal activities involving agents, and 90 percent of projected first round draft picks have had contact with an agent, (Steve Wulf, Time pg. 94). If they received some compensation for the hard work, this corruption would gradually...

...A Place In This World don`t know what I want, so don`t ask me Cause I`m still trying to figure it out Don`t know what`s down this road, I`m just walking Trying to see through the rain coming down Even though I`m not the only one Who feels the way I do [Chorus:] I`m alone, on my own, and that`s all I know I`ll be strong, I`ll be wrong, oh but life goes on I`m just a girl, trying to find a place in This world Got the radio on, my old blue jeans And I`m wearing my heart on my sleeve Feeling lucky today, got the sunshine Could you tell me what more do I need And tomorrow`s just a mystery, oh yeah But that`s ok [Repeat Chorus] Maybe I`m just a girl on a mission But I`m ready to fly [Repeat Chorus] Back To December I'm so glad you made time to see me How's life? Tell me, how's your family? I haven't seen them in a while You've been good, busier than ever We small talk, work and the weather Your guard is up, and I know why Because the last time you saw me Is still burned in the back of your mind You gave me roses, and I left them there to die So this is me swallowing my pride Standing in front of you, saying I'm sorry for that night And I go back to December all the time It turns out freedom ain't nothing but missing you Wishing I'd realized what I had when you were mine I go back to December, turn around and make it alright I go back to December all the time These days, I haven't been sleeping Staying up, playing back...

...I believe that kids should´t be allowed to take homework or do homework and that is my argument. Students should not be sent with school work to home. They just came from school and it would not be fair if they take school with them. Some kids don´t even get enough sleep so that they can finish there work before the next day. Some students don´t even go outside with there family so they can work and they should be with there family not trying to turn in their essays or math page. When kids or students take their work home it´s disruptive. And because of this they don´t have time to play or do their won time watching tv or be with their family. Especially at this young age they should be out in the park running with other kids. I get really...

...Actor: Brain Client: Robin Hood Perhaps starting with: Who are you? What is important to you? What don’t you do? I am Jorge Lopez an independent consultant that is trying to help Robin Hood`s organization to achieve success being this success based in getting the resources to become stronger in order to help poor people. For me it is important that the organization knows exactly what is their real situation in order to identify what are their constraints and capacities to formulate a good strategy. As a consultant I never will advice to Robin Hood `s organization with the generation of strategies that don`t involve a cognitive perspective. Cognition strategy consultants seek to identify potential judgmental biases of key client decision-makers. Which of the following biases might Robin Hood fall prey to? * Search for supportive evidence. * Optimism, wishful thinking. * Conservatism. Robin Hood`s band is acting conservative when they opposed to the Robin`s Hood transit tax. They want to continue with the confiscation knowing that this technique is not functioning anymore. * Selective perception. * Robin Hood may forget his passed problems with the Sherriff in order to generate an alliance with him to have the entire control of the territory. * Underestimating uncertainty. They are underestimating uncertainty at a degree that they don`t have more plans for the future and their purpose is continue acting as they have been doing it. Strategies...
