Philosophy on Education I have learned from personal experiences what a good teacher is like. Growing up, I was a very shy student. I did not talk much, or feel the need to make friendships within each classroom, including with the teacher. In tenth grade, I was in a geometry class with a teacher named Mr. Hungate. He was the first person to see potential in me and the first to teach me how to come out of my shell. I am very thankful to have met him, because I wouldn’t have turned out the way I am. I know now that my calling is to teach, and I have decided that I will use him as a prime example of what a successful teacher is. In my opinion, education is a unique experience for each student that enters a classroom, and it is the teacher’s duty to make the student as comfortable as possible with that certain subject. As Mr. Hungate showed in every class period, a teacher should recognize that they are being trusted with the education of young people, therefore they must teach each student not only academically, but morally as well. I believe that communication should be a priority when it comes to a teacher-student relationship. A teacher should be a mentor to each student, embracing each student with compassion. They should desire to gladly help when they need it, and encourage them to do well. This will help a student feel confident when they take a class, making it an easier experience for both. A student should never feel hopeless in any class. Every student deserves to be treated with respect, and they all have potential to do better. I also believe that it is important that the teacher motivates the students to do their best inside and outside of the classroom. In choosing to teach intellectually disabled children, I am making the commitment to become a mentor, a friend, and a teacher to

...Record Keeping has been around for a long time now. Depending on the laws that governed us, we are requiring to maintain records. A good document retention policy could last up to seven years. A litigation hold is basically keeping all records pertaining to the case, or until the case is over. Depending on the records at hand, state and federal laws require organizations to maintain records. During litigation hold notice a good checklist to follow, is a good idea. A document retention policy basically establishes a policy that keeps records of documents and files for a certain amount of period, so that a court can examine a business practices over a time period. Courts and juries don’t have little tolerance for organizations that don’t maintain their records. They often give penalized corporations for keeping their records, by handing out big fines. A document retention policy is established after a litigation hold is given to an organization. Depending on the litigation hold certain documents must be maintain in order to prevent penalties.
