...alarming. But there are very powerful leaders today that share some characteristics with Hitler. Donald Trump has the potential to be the next Hitler. Once Donald is elected President of The United States he will deliberately begin to take a dictatorship of our own free country. One reason Donald Trump is like Hitler would be they both are devoted nationalist to their country. Hitler believed Germans were the superior race and Trump obviously believes Americans are. From the very beginning of his first speeches, Hitler had hateful messages about deporting all immigrants. Hitler, however, mostly focused on Jews as he believed they were one of the prime reasons the Germans lost the war and have such a bad economy. Donald Trump also has hateful messages about immigrants, but instead of blaming Jews for America’s problems, he turns to the Mexicans. Donald Trump also blames all Muslims for terrorism. He called for a “total and complete shutdown” of all Muslims entering the country. People were astonished that he had declared this because our country is made out of immigrants but, later, Trump said he didn’t care what the American people...

...In the world there are a lot of people with all different types of characteristics. Some of those people open their own businesses, provide services and make money in doing so. Entrepreneurs of all different business industries carry a lot of the same types of characteristics. In fact, it is probably why they become successful in the first place, but people are motivated by different things which are what drives them in the first place. Some people are motivated by pure profits. Donald Trump is an example of this type of entrepreneur. He entered a business that he was very comfortable with in order to tap the market and make money. The other type of entrepreneur is one that makes money while serving their community. Oprah Winfrey is a perfect example of this type of entrepreneur. Her goal is to be socially responsible and puts her community service in front of money making. Although both of these people are rich and share similar characteristics, their business principals and leadership strategies are very different. Donald Trump was born into the real estate business. His father raised him in the lifestyle and prepared Trump with the tools he would need in order to be successful. When it comes to business Trump has a pretty straight forward out look on things. If it made him money he would dive in full force and once he took on a project there really was no stopping him until her reached his goals. Donald Trump's Stereotypes

...I believe that Donald Trump and I have the same taste of music. Obviously he loves the song “I know, you know” by The Friendly Indians. “I know you know, that I am not telling the truth, I know you know that they don’t have any proof.” He knows, we know that he isn’t telling the truth. But he got the last part wrong. We do have proof. He knows, we know that he just loves to grope women but won’t admit that what he does is wrong. He knows, we know that he didn’t lose the popular vote because of voter fraud intended to help his campaign opponent Hillary Clinton. He knows, we know that immigrants aren’t all to blame for the crime rates. He knows, we know that he isn’t telling the truth. We know, he knows he doesn’t have any proof. Gideon Resnick...

As I move forward with my education I look up to him as guide for how I would want to run not only a business, but also any event or occasion that comes up. I choose Mr. Trump not only because he a successful businessman, but he is also a candidate for the 2016 presidential elections taking place now. I look up to Mr. Trump because he is one of the richest businessmen in the world and even though a lot of people do not like him, he still manages to succeed with or without the support of others. I do not always agree with everything he has to say but I respect him because of his lack of political correctness. Some characteristics I love about Mr. Trump are his willing to learn from his mistakes, his “can do it” attitude he doesn’t take no lightly, and his ability to work under pressure. Questions I would love to ask Mr. Donald Trump is how much he makes a week? What are some investments does he have? What is his net worth in a year? What is the biggest threat in your company? And why are you running for president this year of all years? When it comes to Mr. Trump some people call him cut throat with the way he speaks to people, and though I might not agree on all of the comments he makes,...

Donald Trump's Personality

...Many things have been written and said in the media, both pro and con, about perhaps the most polarizing individual in America today. Opinions and emotions are very strong concerning the current President, and even some well known mental health professionals as recently as last Tuesday held a panel discussion in Washington D.C. titled “The Increasingly Dangerous Case of Donald Trump” [1]. It was claimed that the President’s “mental instability” was supported by now well-known examples of exaggeration, lying, and personal vanity. Although many politicians and public figures are controversial because of these behaviors, I thought it would be interesting to examine and explain Donald Trump’s personality using two different perspectives: Freud’s...

Manager

...Introduction Great managers have some characters in common which can be learnt by upcoming and young managers through simulation, that is, the imitation of the leadership styles of great managers to achieve results. Some criteria is required which is predictable from the simple aggregation of individual characteristics of the agents (Gilbert, 1996). If novices can painstakingly learn from and imitate characters of experts, they will surely develop their skills. Managing a team with more than two people is not an easy task because of the fact that sub-teams will emerge from the bigger team and this existence of smaller teams in a team have its challenges and opportunities if well managed. Nobody is an island on his or her own and projects are easier to execute where there is more than one collaborators, especially with mutual understanding and team spirit. Synergy is the factor that helps teams to do what individual members will not do. The whole team performance is more than the sum of the perormances of individual members of the team. This is due to the geling of the team members and the dynamism therein. Great leaders have exhibited different kinds of leadership styles. All these leadership styles are beneficial depending on how they are used. Great leaders are visionary people who are able to achieve results using people. They exhibits authority in themselves and exhume confidence in their team members. Circustances make men, just as much as men make circumstances (Marx...

Donald Trump

...DONALD TRUMP-AMERICAN BUSINESS MAGNATE Over the years, Donald Trump, Chairman and President of the Trump Organization has become a master of situating himself in the limelight with out-spoken interviews, his books, his television show, and especially his king-size lifestyle. Nonetheless behind it all this lies a very sharp businessman. Someone who is a tough negotiator, someone who knows how to build a brand and simply someone who does all this while building successful working relations with others. This starts my essay on why I admire Donald Trump. “I like thinking big. If you’re going to be thinking about anything, you might as well think big.” Donald Trump. Entrepreneur Donald Trump, through set-backs, controversies and successes, is someone who comes to my mind as a person one can admire and emulate. Donald John Trump was born in Queens, New York on June 14, 1946; the fourth of five children of Mary and Frederick Trump. Frederick (1905-1999) was himself a real-estate developer. Donald’s parent hoped a military school education would greatly benefit him, as it did Dwight Eisenhower, Ted Turner, and Douglas MacArthur to name a few and prepare him to enter the family business. Being an active and energetic child, his parents sent him to the New York Military Academy (est. 1889), located in the Cornwall-on-Hudson, at age 13. They hoped the academy’s discipline program would have an influence on him. By attending the military academy, which was a private boarding...

Trend Article Analysis

...Trend Article Analysis University of Phoenix – MGT373 Jennifer Choy August 21, 2011 In this day and age there are millions of trends that are present in almost every industry. In order for an organization to be successful it is essential that they follow some of these trends so that their company appeals to people. This proves to be true for the event planning and convention industries. Two articles that pinpoint a couple different trends are “Nifty gadgets taking special events to a new level” and “ The article “Nifty gadgets taking special events to a new level” is a great example of trends within the planning and convention industries. In the years 2001-2004 these industries saw a huge decline in business. The reason for this was the failing economy. Companies and organizations could no longer fit events and gatherings into the budget. In 2005 event planning companies such as Dolce parties finally started to see an incline in corporate parties and events. However, these parties and events were at a much smaller scale. It was only the important people that were being invited to these gatherings because the budgets were still not back to where they were. Since the comeback of events was at a slow pace, event planners and convention industries decided to introduce some new gadgets to attract clientele. According to Stableford ( 2005)“Beyond the typical post-event surveys and evaluation of how many sales leads actually translate into qualified...

Republican Debate

...Republican Debate Essay The Republican Party has debates to allow the people to choose who they want to run for their party. The debate was held at the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland, Ohio on Thursday, August 6th at 9:00 pm. The candidates involved in the debate were Trump, Bush, Walker, Huckabee, Carson, Cruz, Rubio, Paul, Christie, and Kasich. The stage was set up putting the two major candidates (Trump and Bush) in the center to help ensue more involved debates between the two parties. Although I did not want him to particularly win the debate, I believe that Donald Trump related best to the people in the audience. Although Jeb Bush was at the head of the polls towards the beginning of the run for candidacy, Donald Trump’s sense of raw anger in our country helped him relate to the American people much easier. The first question given to all the candidates was whether or not they would back up the nominee was not them, Trump was the only candidate to say that he would not. Early in the debate Trump was asked about his crude comment on women. He stated that he didn't have time for “total political correctness”, and that the statements were only about Rosie O’Donnell. He did apologize and explained that he had always said nice things about her but he threatened to be less cordial with his responses if she were going to continue replying in such a rude manner. Although I may not agree with most of Trump’s views on immigration and basic...

Internet Writing Assignment C

...Internet Writing Assignment C There are several polls that are currently being displayed. These include social issues, current election standings, and other items including things like the economy and educational issues. One poll that I found on these sites is how favorable is Donald Trump. I learned that Republicans favor him the most and Democrats dislike him the most and independent voters are somewhere in the middle. He is about 50/50 with the voters currently and slightly more unfavorable at the last poll. When he first started he was about 90% unfavorable so he has came a long way since then. After looking at both of these sites, I found that the pollingreport.com website is what I would use for a reference. Depending on what I am searching for I may turn to Gallup polls if it is regarding a social issue or something other than politics. Polling Report I found was more useful for information regarding presidential elections. For this reason I found Polling Report to be more useful especially to people in a college level political science class and to the American public. It is important to have all this poll data online because you can see how others think and you can have a reference available at all points in time. It helps us understand where we currently stand and think as a whole as a country. Polls give us a lot of information including how the people think a president is doing. Also, they are real important around election time because it shows where each candidate...

...SUNYIT Human Resource Management MGT 318 Professor N. Laino Leadership Jeff Albright April 30, 2014 In the waning seconds of Game 6 during the 1998 NBA Finals, Michael Jordan found himself with the ball after stealing it from Karl Malone. Down by one, and with just 5.2 seconds left on the clock, Jordan rose up for a jumper that would end up being the winning points of the game. This win would earn Michael Jordan his sixth NBA championship. With every successful championship win, there is a leader who helped lead the franchise. Just as experienced leadership translates to success on the playing field, experienced leadership is essential in the business world. Leadership is defined as “the use of power and influence to direct the activities of followers toward goal achievement. That direction can affect followers’ interpretation of events, the organization of their work activities, their commitment to key goals, their relationship with other followers, and their access to cooperation and support from other work units” (McGraw 418). Often times, people who are leaders are people of power; it’s how these leaders use their power to get followers to achieve goals. Someone who is powerful is often known for their ability to influence the behavior of others. In the workforce, most leaders are managers. There are three organizational forms of power that managers can use to influence employees: legitimate power, reward power, and coercive power. Legitimate power...
