His vision of producing the American goods in America and making the people buy American goods sounds good for the American economy there are many disadvantages of the idea. In my opinion, buy American hire American can’t be a way of increasing country’s economy. Many American businesses have moved to china and Mexico for better buildings of the products and the cheap labor in the economically backwards countries. But, is president Trump unknown of the low wage immigrant workers who work hard every day for low wage and have helped shape the economy of the country? Countless critiques have criticized Donald trump of being a hypocrite as he is criticized for using immigrant workers. One of the example is from salon media group where the writer for salon Charlie may state, “In the past, Trump has been known to hire low-skill foreign workers at a low cost for his Florida resort Mar-a-Lago under a complete separate visa system.” [2] Similarly, another drawback of the program can be seen as the decrease in the free trade between United States and other countries. The American produced goods can be expensive to the consumers as the product’s prices depends on the availability of raw materials, wage of the workers etc. For example, many electronic goods come to US from china, Taiwan and many goods that are American companies are

Aristotle's Tyranny Summary

...Aristotle says the demagogues as “flatter the citizens”(1305a35). One way Trump flattered the American voters was through his deceptively simple rhetoric. Trump made untrue claims that allowed him to create distorted view of America where problems are exaggerated or fabricated and solutions are simplified. An example is when he said, “They’re [Mexico] sending people that have lots of problems, and they’re bringing those problems to us. They’re bringing drugs. They’re bringing crime”(Donald Trump, “Donald Trump’s Presidential Announcement Speech”). According to the Georgetown Journal of International Affairs, in this quote Trump was able to falsely single out Mexican immigrants as the cause of socio-economic problems plaguing white working class voters(Blakey). Trump was then able to swoop in and provide the seemingly simple solution of building a wall. This gave voters the ‘flattering’ impression that he understands their problems and has a surefire solution. President Trump also flattered voters by promising to redistribute power to the people. For instance, in his inauguration speech he...

Donald Trump's Immigration Ban

...27, 2017, only one week later of his inauguration day, Donald J. Trump issued an executive order. The press and the white house refers to this order as an immigration ban, a ban that denies the entrance from citizens from Iraq, Syria, Sudan, Iran, Somalia, Libya and Yemen into the U.S. The order goes against everything America stands for, how can we deny the entrance of people who also want to have the American dream? Trump’s executive order is a ban that is unessential, goes against our constitution, and defines the opposite of what this country stands for. Those who support Donald Trump’s executive order on the entry ban, argue its full purpose is to protect the the country from terrorist attacks. But this ban does not stand...

How Does The President Influence Public Policy Making

...President trump has a dissimilar approach to politics. He has return to unified government across both Congress and the White House for the first time since 2011.His approach is to progress onward with a task or action regardless of apparent risks or danger. In just three months president Trump has stimulated change in regards to the co-equal branches of government. Being that Donald is a republican their party now holds control of the House of representatives but they also are majority in the U.S. Senate. President Trump is relying profoundly on executive orders not only to reverse Obama administration initiatives, but to enact new federal policies covering immigration, health care and other areas in ways that could be seen more as the province of the House and Senate. The outbreak of administration laws flowing from the White House puts some top Republicans in the awkward position. Soon after taking office Trump issued an executive order targeted at taking back Obamacare. The policy was intended to minimize the financial burden on insurers and health care providers. Mr. president seems to keep his focus on subjects such as rebuilding the u’s armed forces and hiring freeze of new federal jobs. According to a Ballotpedia analysis, most currently sitting judges will become eligible to take senior status in the next four years. Of those, Republican presidents...

Manager

...Introduction Great managers have some characters in common which can be learnt by upcoming and young managers through simulation, that is, the imitation of the leadership styles of great managers to achieve results. Some criteria is required which is predictable from the simple aggregation of individual characteristics of the agents (Gilbert, 1996). If novices can painstakingly learn from and imitate characters of experts, they will surely develop their skills. Managing a team with more than two people is not an easy task because of the fact that sub-teams will emerge from the bigger team and this existence of smaller teams in a team have its challenges and opportunities if well managed. Nobody is an island on his or her own and projects are easier to execute where there is more than one collaborators, especially with mutual understanding and team spirit. Synergy is the factor that helps teams to do what individual members will not do. The whole team performance is more than the sum of the perormances of individual members of the team. This is due to the geling of the team members and the dynamism therein. Great leaders have exhibited different kinds of leadership styles. All these leadership styles are beneficial depending on how they are used. Great leaders are visionary people who are able to achieve results using people. They exhibits authority in themselves and exhume confidence in their team members. Circustances make men, just as much as men make circumstances (Marx...

Mexican American War Summary

...erk's reinterpretation of the Mexican War justified the actions that were committed in pursuit of Manifest Destiny. He recognized Polk’s aggression as a retaliation to Mexico’s uncooperative nature. By continuously commenting on the unreasonable reactions of Mexicans, he implies that the War could have been avoided; but, due to the stubbornness of Mexicans, the war was inevitable. Recent historians, like Amy S. Greenberg, have challenged this argument. Greenberg, like Merk, does not fully examine the Mexican perspective in her analysis; however, her research reveals the unjust nature of the war instead of justifying the war. In A Wicked War: Polk, Clay, Lincoln, and the 1846 US invasion of Mexico, Amy S. Greenberg emphasizes Polk’s territorial goals, to expand shore to shore, as a major cause of the war. Before Polk was elected as president, the Whig party predicted Polk’s election would lead to war. Polk pursued the...

In other words there is no national curriculum. Another tactical maneuver introduced in statehouses by Republicans shows that the Common Core foes are maturing their views for a long fight. Paul Farrow, a Republican. Add “I feel confident if we don’t get it done this year, then within the next three years we’ll get it done,” said Washington state Sen. John McCoy...
