4 Dream Vacation Spots
Switzerland
Growing up in India, I used to watch movies where one of the most cherished vacation spots shown over and again in many movies was Switzerland. Actors and actresses would sing romantic songs in the beautiful snow filled Alps or gorgeous green and lush fields, with trees in the background that I had only learned about in school.
Switzerland has environmental issues such as some acid rain, air pollution from vehicle emissions, water pollution from fertilizers, and loss of biodiversity (CIA World factbook1). It is something I will most likely not worry about though. However, avalanche, landslides, and flash floods could be something that I may study prior to leaving to avoid it.
I will be able to use my credit card as usual in the country, as long as I notify my bank in advance. This will take hassle out of carrying cash and worrying about the latest currency exchange rate or thieves. Safety and travelling systems are rated A, which means strict rules and regulations. For ex, travelling through highways requires a sticker that needs to be purchased prior to travelling (CountryWatch1 ,159).
I would like to go for at least a week with my family (husband and son). I would visit in summer, since I get cold easily and will not be able to colorful scenery. One of the places I would like to visit is the Island of Brissago (see attachment A1), a botanical garden of the Canton Ticino. It is the only botanical garden on an island in Switzerland (MySwitzerland4). And the best part is that it has the mildest climate in the Switzerland in summer. It has three different types of climates in the country, unlike most others in the Europe. According to the textbook, it has marine west-coast climate (no winter months average below freezing, though cold rain, sleet, and occasional blizzards are common), complex mountain climates, and continental climate (averages at least one month below freezing during winter).

Attachment A1:
Climate
Immersed in the waters of the Verbano (local name for this part of Lake Maggiore), which accumulate heat during the summer and return it to the atmosphere in the winter, the Islands of Brissago enjoy a particularly mild, subtropical climate with only a few days of frost occurring a year.
The garden
Over 1,700 species from the Mediterranean, subtropical Asia, South Africa, the Americas and Oceania thrive in the gardens.

It will cost us approximately $7-8k, but I will plan ahead for certain travelling discounts to make the trip cheaper. I plan on getting a train pass online in advance (see attachment A2), especially since I can get a discount for buying for more than four days. I would mostly travel via train, except for the boat ride to the Island of Brissago. Trains will not only take out the guesswork of navigating but they will be an experience in themselves. I will try to travel by either the GoldenPass Line (see appendix A.1) or Centovalli Express, they both have excellent views (because the trains are built for people to enjoy the scenery) and sights that one can enjoy. Centovalli Express, will be the one I will take right before the Brissago. It has views of waterfalls, mountains, and ravines, and passes though many viaducts (my son enjoys bridges and trains).

Attachment A2:
No matter when and where you wish to travel, standing in line at the ticket machine is a thing of the past. Just come aboard and discover the delightful diversity of Switzerland with a single ticket.
Travelling in Switzerland with a partner or a group? If so, the Swiss Saver Pass gives you a 15% discount off the regular price of the Swiss Pass. Young adults aged under 26 travelling in Switzerland by train, bus or boat can save even more – the Swiss Youth Pass costs 25% less than the regular Swiss Pass.

After staying at the botanical garden I will visit other close by attractions such as Castles of Bellinzona, Lakeside Lido di Lugano, and the main attraction of Swiss Miniature (I have seen this in a couple of Indian songs, and have been wanting to visit it ever since I was a young girl). Lido di Lugano, is a swimming resort with beautiful beach, with one of the most beautiful views in the world. Castles of Bellinzona, is a medieval castle. It is something my son would enjoy very much since he loves Harry Potter. Swiss Miniature in Melide, as written by MySwitzerland, has “130 models of houses, castles, and monuments in open air, distributed throughout the 14,000 square meter park” (MySwitzerland1). It’s a depiction of a city in Switzerland on a scale of 1:25 (see attachment A3 and appendix A.2).

Source: Swissminiatur (Swissminiatur)
Attachment A3:
Swissminiatur was inaugurated on 6th June 1959 and celebrated its 50 year anniversary in 2009. It is an open-air miniature park located in Melide, on the shore of Lake Lugano, in the Italian speaking part of Switzerland. The park is surrounded by mountains like Monte Generoso, Monte San Salvatore and Monte San Giorgio, which has been declared an UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site.
In an area of 14,000 m2 visitors can admire more than 120 models at scale of 1:25 which represent the most important buildings, monuments and transportation means in Switzerland. A 3,560m long model railway with 18 trains runs through the park. It is fascinating to watch the variety of trains that run along the tracks, cross bridges and stop by at stations. Boats are also in motion on the lakes, cable cars and funiculars go up and down the mountains and cars move along the highway.
For garden lovers, the whole park is beautifully decorated with a selection of 1,500 different plants and over 15,000 flowers. There are several coin operated rides for children.
The self–service restaurant serves local, Italian, authentic Chinese and Indian cuisine. It can also accommodate large groups.

I will have to read up on the etiquettes, dos/don’ts, gifting policies, and taboos. Certain things as being extra polite and aware of the people around is something I can do, but I heard that one has to watch where they keep their hands and feet, in order to not offend someone. Especially, since it is customary for the locals to reprimand the stranger that behave, well strange, or inappropriate in their customs. I would also have to brush up on positive aspects of local cultures and society, so as to spark up interesting conversations. After all, we would be travelling to experience the new country, culture, and the environment, not just sightseeing. I plan on taking many pictures and trying out every possible local food (the best part that I love the most about traveling) that I can try.

London
My most favorite uncle, Raju used to live with us until I was 7 years old. We had developed a very close bond. After marriage he moved to London; ever since then I have always wanted to visit them in their own place. I couldn’t go as a child, since my parents were not able to send me. As an adult I have never gotten a chance sometimes due to finances and sometimes because of family responsibilities. It has been 20 years, and I hope to go there one day to spend time with his whole family. Since it will be partially a family visit and partly vacation, I would travel with my uncle’s family so that we can all spend time together as well as enjoy the travel sights (especially since my uncle is a travel veteran; he will reduce confusion and frustration from the traveling experience).
London, is a city in United Kingdom. As per text, United Kingdom is part of the European Union. London is known as the old and new city, since much of old is mixed with the new. Old and rich architecture, art, music etc. is still very much a part of the proud history of London. New fashion, food, and technology are used side by side with the old (antiques are a great attraction). Current environmental issues in London are industrial pollutions such as greenhouse gas emissions, river pollution, coastal water pollution, and radon seepage from soil into inhabited structures (CIA World Factbook2 ,2). England has happy planet index rank (human well-being in conjunction with environmental impact) of 76, Human development index rank of 26, and life satisfaction index rank of 41 in the world (CountryWatch2).
Attractions that I would like to enjoy are old cathedrals such as St. Paul’s, which has the great baroque dome (see attachment B1 and appendix B.1). I would also plan out a trip where my aunt and I can go shopping while my uncle and husband can enjoy some down time and the kids. Shopping districts of London draw fashion from all over the world, vintage fashion to new, everything can be found in the boutiques.

Attachment B1:
Harrods has a home in South Kensington, the world-famous department store that carries everything your heart desires. This area of London is heaven for the picky and choosy shopper; you'll find nothing but high-quality, designer goods from around the globe, and will feel like a star even when browsing. Harrod's alone will keep you busy for a few days; this is a six-floor multiplex that includes fine restaurants, cafes, and special events year round. Head to Harvey Nichols, another leading department store in the area, for the latest from Calvin Klein, Versace, and more.
After you battle your way through Kings Road, you'll end up in Chelsea, just outside of London. You'll enjoy a good dose of English history as you explore the bustling streets here; it's an eclectic mix of the 60's and 80's trends, and there are many antique stores throughout this shopping district. Still, there are a few designer boutiques to explore at the end of the high street, and this is the perfect spot to enjoy a break from central London and still get your shopping fix.
Oxford Street is one of London's most popular shopping districts, but keep in mind its primarily aimed for tourists. Locals spend more time browsing here than actually shopping, and the entire 1.5 mile stretch is filled with high-end department stores, boutiques, and unique fashion collections. Selfridges, Debenhams, and House of Fraser all have a home here. This is the place to do your Christmas shopping both pre- and post-season; nothing comes close to a shopping experience at Oxford Street, just be prepared for lots of crowds!

Nightlife is something I will stay away from, since I am going with my family and will not be appreciated by my traditional family members. I must visit Trafalgar Square (see attachment B2 and appendix B.2), a hub of London, where many public demonstrations take place.

Source: London.gov.uk (London gov uk)
Attachment B2:
Trafalgar Square, at the heart of London, is one of the city’s most vibrant open spaces.
Managed by the Greater London Authority, Trafalgar Square is a landmark in central London enjoyed by Londoners and all visitors alike. It is a lively place often used for a wide range of activities including: special events and celebrations like the Royal Wedding, Olympics One Year to Go, St Patrick's Day and Chinese New Year; filming and photography; and rallies and demonstrations.
Home to Nelson’s Column, the square is rich in history and provides a platform for new artistic performances and events - visit our events pages to see what's on. If you wish to hold an event on the Square please go to the Booking the Square page.
If you’ve got an idea for an event in Trafalgar Square then please complete our online booking form. We welcome all Londoners and tourists alike, and hope you enjoy your visit to London’s most famous square.

The Buckingham Palace will have to be planned out where we can visit it during the tours, which are only available occasionally during in summer. London Eye would be another stop, where I can take many pictures of London. I am also interested in experiencing an authentic British tea ceremony. Something I have wanted to do for a long time, Ritz Palm Court is my aunt’s favorite place (See attachment B3).

Source: The Ritz London (The Ritz London)
Attachment B3:
Afternoon tea in London at The Ritz is an institution in itself and we are proud to be a member of the Tea Council's prestigious Tea Guild. Served in the spectacular Palm Court, the choice of several varieties of tea and a delicious menu combine to make for an unforgettable afternoon.
An extensive selection of 17 different types of loose leaf tea is offered. The traditional English Tea Menu includes freshly cut sandwiches with smoked salmon, cucumber, egg mayonnaise, roast ham and Cheddar cheese fillings. The finger sandwiches are served on a three tier stand, together with freshly baked apple and raisin scones with strawberry preserve and clotted Cornish cream, followed by a delectable selection of afternoon tea cakes and pastries.
The dress code of The Ritz reflects the ambience and style of the different areas of the hotel. In The Ritz Restaurant and The Palm Court, gentlemen are required to wear a jacket and tie; jeans are not permitted. For The Rivoli Bar smart attire is a must. Please note that sports shoes are not permitted in The Ritz Restaurant, The Rivoli Bar or The Palm Court at any time.

And of course I must see a play, I can’t return home after visiting Shakespeare’s country and not enjoying a play. Last but not least, I must take my son to the Harry Potter film studio; I myself look forward to taking a stroll down the Diagon Alley.
I would need around 6-7k budget in order to be able to do the things I would like, plus shopping costs. Cost of hotel and food expenses will be zero, until when we decide to enjoy the outside food. Public transportation will most likely be the best option to travel within the city. The subways are extremely efficient, pretty safe, and reasonably priced. I will have to read up on some of the etiquettes and rules about the country and ensure that we have all our shots and records in order. London, a city that never sleeps, is a place that I must visit because not only is it one my bucket list favorite, but because of the promise that I made to my uncle.

South-India
I have lived most of my childhood in India. My family moved to America when I was 14. After living 8 years in America, I went back to visit my family as an adult, but I was only able to visit eastern part of the India. As a child we rarely travelled due to India’s safety hazards (thievery, rapes etc.). Some of my family members have been to the south and have told me about some of the most amazing experiences that they have had and about the beautiful clothing, jewelry, and souvenirs that they have purchased there for a bargain and a great quality.
India is in its developing stages. It faces issues such as poverty, incompetent physical and social infrastructure, unemployment, quality education, and rural- to-urban migration (CIA World Factbook3). Corruption, social injustice, and discrimination are still rampant in many parts of the country, especially in South India. Environmental issues include deforestation, soil erosion, overgrazing, desertification, air/water pollution via industrial and vehicle emissions and agriculture (CIA World Factbook3). Risk of infectious diseases such as bacterial diarrhea, Hepatitis A & E, dengue fever, and malaria is high (CIA World Factbook3 ,4). I will have to be very cautious of the food that we may try during travel. I will have to remember to take all the necessary shots before travel and also arrange doctor’s appointments upon return. I will have to arrange for bottled water and ensure reliable sanitation facilities first, at each destination. Although, we can rely heavily on the coconut water (most heavenly drink in the world), since it is grows abundantly in that part of the country.
South India is a great place to visit in order to experience ancient India. The Dravidian kingdoms were established in the south. Therefore, the languages used in the south are also from Dravidian family (I do hope my Hindi and English would be good enough for communications though). There are also very religious roots of Hinduism. South Indians still follow many of the same traditions from ancient India today, especially the Tamils (residents of Tamil Nadu). It is something that I have never witnessed. For ex, they eat on a piece of banana leaf (see appendix C.1)or a plate/bowl that is made of banyan tree leaves. The community in most of South India is particularly conservative, superstitious, and proceeds with caution when it comes to strangers. Not having friendly people in a new place could be challenging in case of an emergency.
I would go to Mahabalipuram for the shore temple and may be a chance to see, the recently uncovered by the 2004 tsunami, an ancient city and the five Rathas (see attachment C1). Next stop would be Puducherry where I would visit the Matrimandir/Auroville (see appendix C.2), a sacred place for meditation and a great architectural piece. Visiting Madurai, city of temples, will be a must. It is one of the oldest cities of India that is still standing. The Minaxi temples of Madurai are famous for the beautiful paintings and carvings (see appendix C.3 and C,4).

Undersea remains
"They could be part of the small seaport city which existed here before water engulfed them. They could be part of a temple or a building. We are investigating," says T Sathiamoorthy of Archaeological Survey of India (ASI).
Archaeologists say that the stone remains date back to 7th Century AD and are nearly 6ft tall.
They have elaborate engravings of the kind that are found in the Mahabalipuram temple.
The temple, which is a World Heritage site, represents some of the earliest-known examples of Dravidian architecture dating back to 7th Century AD.
The monument also has gigantic open-air reliefs hewn out from granite. The tsunami waves have also helped the archaeologists in desilting one such relief which had been covered with sand for ages.
A half-completed rock relief of an elephant got "naturally desilted" by the ferocious waves and is now drawing large crowds at this popular tourist destination.
For the past three years, archaeologists working with divers from India and England have found the remnants of the ancient port.
Archaeologists say they had done underwater surveys 1 km into the sea from the temple and found some undersea remains.

I will spend the last two days in Kerala (see attachment C2 and appendix C.5). I would also spend a day in a kettuvallam (see appendix C.6), a long and simple (or luxurious depending on a budget)-house boat; it is an experience of a lifetime. I plan on getting the full cook, pilot, malishwala (masseuse), and a tour guide. It is basically like a spa (Ayurvedic) and a restaurant in a rustic and authentic ancient Indian style.

Attachment C2:
Kerala Backwaters are one of the unique attractions in Kerala, a chain of canals extending about 1500 kms, with a network of 44 rivers, lagoons and lakes. Most of the Kerala backwaters are naturally formed and some of the backwater canals are manmade. Canals are remade for continuous traffic of men and materials. Before the modern transport methods like road and air transport became popular, the main cargo transportation in Kerala was through backwaters by 'Kettuvalloms'.
The traditional cargoboats are called "KETTUVALLOM" - KETTU means to tie, VALLOM - means boat. So literally translated means boat which are made by wooden planks tied together with coconut ropes and painted with cashew nut oil outside. They are 70 to 100 feet long and 15 to 20 feet wide.
Master craftsmen of these Houseboats of Kerala, is now numbering. Only a few have tremendous knowledge and experience. Without a scale model or drawing, they build these magnificent and beautiful Kettuvalloms. The natural coir fibre once soaked in oil, seal the holes and at the same time yield a little bit on mild impacts saving the boat. The ‘valavara’ the roof of the Kettuvallom is made of split bamboo poles Coir ropes and bamboo mats. The art of roof making is specialty of certain villages in Kerala. You can observe by their deft hands how they make thousands of knots with ropes to make the skeleton and the various decorations.
Backwaters in Kerala form an inherent part of life in Kerala. Newspaper, mail and milk are delivered by boats, members of political party with red flags and Christian missionaries spreading the words of God, share the same boats along with fully made up Brides and wedding party.

tourindia, a specialist tour operator started with a team of young people about 40 years ago. tourindia has pioneered the development of backwater tourism by introducing first Kettuvallam Houseboat (Rice Boat) for comfortable cruise in the canals in 1991 after several years of trials and experiments.

These kerala Houseboats are converted ‘kettuvalloms’. They are designed for comfortable cruise and overnight stay.

These kerala houseboats are known for its unique design use of local and eco-friendly materials like bamboo poles, coconut finer ropes, bamboo mats, carpets etc.

I will have to go during the winter season, since they are cool and dry. The summers are extremely hot and humid, and monsoons can create a whole host of other issues such as flooding, power outages, water shortages etc. that can ruin the plans, and even get us stuck in a place for days. This will mean I will have to get special permission from my son’s teachers in advance to extend the winter break (a week long winter break will be insufficient). Total trip would take about a week.
Costs are very reasonable for Americans, due to the exchange rates. A budget of $5k will be enough for the entire trip. Everything from reading boards, purchasing tickets, to asking for help or information could be a challenge. People are weary of strangers; Internet and telecommunication connections are not commonly available. Communication means are unreliable and English or Hindi (national languages of India) are not commonly practiced. ATMs are available in many places, so that will take care of the cash problem. I will have to alert the bank about my travel plans prior to the trip.
A guide to take us through the entire trip will be needed because of the language barrier and because the guides know which places to safe and the ones that are not (see attachment C3). Guides are pretty reasonable (will help with bargaining in shops), can help deliver services according to the budget, and provide with insights and experiences that one may not be able to find on his/her own; especially since most of the Indian cities are not tourist friendly.

Planning your trip
We can design a complete itinerary for you including suggestions of our favourite places and things to see. We’ll book all your accommodation and transport, and of course we’ll drive you anywhere you like along the way.
During your trip
We’ll have a friendly driver meet you at the airport and escort you to your destination.
We’ll drive you from each destination to the next - unless you prefer a train or bus which we can also arrange for you.
We will be available 24 hours to drive you around to sightsee and shop.
We’ll recommend great places to see and escort you to wonderful restaurants.
We respect your privacy
If you like your independence, just say so and we can leave you to it - you can see as much or as little of us as you like. Our driver will arrange his own food and accommodation.
Tour Guide service
A tour guide will travel and accompany the guests throughout the tour. A tour guide in India must have a valid guiding license from the Government of India, where they have to compete an exam and undergo 6 months theoretical and practical training.
An accompanying tour guide or escort will assist you with check-in / check-out at the hotels, as well as guide you through and explain the history of monuments, places, culture, traditions and customs of the Indian people. A tour guide will be at your disposal throughout the tour. The tour guide's fee will always include costs for their accommodation and food.

Travelling to southern part of India may be a challenging yet a very interesting experience; well worth the hassle. Guide will be a big help. As long as I have the necessary paperwork and travel light, it will be a safe trip.

Mexico
I learned much about Mexico and Mexicans in my two years of Spanish class. When I first joined the military, a couple of my friends were from Mexico. They would praise their neighborhood, childhood, and family often. When I moved to Texas I was able to try some of the authentic Mexican food and tradition; it felt like home. I cannot go back to India often due to the high cost and high expectations (financial, since they all expect gifts upon return from a abroad and social, since they need us to prove that we are still very Indian/traditional) of family make it difficult to enjoy a vacation. I love to enjoy food and natural beauty. I would like to visit Mexico to enjoy their hospitality, beaches, historical sites, food, and festivals.
Mexico is home to some of Mayan and Aztec ruins. It is one of the well-to-do countries in the world, ranked 12th (CIA World Factbook4). Its move to encourage neoliberalism throughout the country has fueled the economy in the last two decades. It gave rise to industries such as telecommunications and electricity generations. Drugs and gangs are one of the biggest issues facing the nation. In addition they have issues with immigrants from other impoverished nations (CIA World Factbook4). One of the issues that I might have to be cautious about is the high child abduction rates (Travel State Gov). Current environmental issues include industrial pollution, deforestation, desertification, and widespread erosion; it is ranked 15th in the world for greenhouse gas output (CountryWatch3). According to the CIA factbook it has an intermediate level of risk for infectious diseases such as dengue fever and Hepatitis A.
I will have to go during the summer, when the sun is out and my son has vacation. Visa is not required to enter Mexico for US citizens; we will just need our passports. I will sign up for the smart traveler enrollment program prior to leaving so that we can be assisted by the U.S. embassy in Mexico in case of an emergency, since the crime rates are pretty high in some parts of Mexico (see attachment D1). I will also have to make sure that I will have to learn some of the basic etiquette and brush up on some Spanish. I will also have to notify the bank and Tricare of my travel plans so that the family can be covered (see Attachment D2).
I want to visit the pyramids of the Mayans and relax on the Cancun beaches. Mayan ruins in Yucatan were of particular interest to me. Chechen Itza (the sunset creates a shadow down the steps that looks like a descending snake) and Ek Balam (for the beauty of it) would be something I would like to see with my son (see appendix D.1 and D.2). I plan on eating just the local food and try out the best small restaurants in town that have a long history along with famous dishes. I will head out to Cancun next (See Appendix D.3). I will enjoy the Nichupte Lagoon, where one can observe the local ecosystem. I will then spend rest of the vacation on the beaches of Cancun and enjoy the water activities, such as snorkeling and sailing. Local massages available in the hotels are very reasonable and famous in Cancun (see attachment D3). During summer Cancun has a parade for honoring a Catholic saint, Carmen. There will be vendors, food, and festivities for the whole family to enjoy. I look forward to the trip to Mexico and learn about the Mayans, Mexican traditions, and food. Who knows may be we will end up going back again because of the reasonable prices and beautiful people and beaches.

Attachment D1:
THREATS TO SAFETY AND SECURITY: All travelers to Mexico should review the Department of State’s Travel Warning for Mexico that provides detailed information about security issues affecting parts of the country. Millions of U.S. citizens visit Mexico safely each year. However, crime and violence, much of it fueled by transnational criminal activity, affect many parts of the country, including both urban and rural areas. Visitors should remain alert and be aware of their surroundings at all times, particularly when visiting the border region. In its efforts to combat violence, the Government of Mexico has deployed federal police and military troops to various parts of the country. Government checkpoints, often staffed by military personnel, have been erected in many parts of the country, especially, but not exclusively, in the border area. U.S. citizens are advised to cooperate with personnel at government checkpoints when traveling on Mexican highways

Overseas MTFs
Always seek care at a military treatment facility (MTF) when possible. Overseas MTFs, like stateside MTFs, are managed and operated by the Military Health System and offer the best quality health care available. You can find a list of overseas MTFs by visiting www.tricare.osd.mil/mtf. If you can't get to an MTF and need to seek care from a host nation hospital (i.e., in the country where you are traveling), contact the closest MTF. Overseas MTFs can provide you with a patient liaison who speaks the local language to help you make decisions at the host nation hospital. Overseas MTFs also can help you transfer to a different hospital, if needed.

Attachment D3: This eight-kilometer-long (5 miles) by one-half kilometer-wide (.3 miles) wisp of an island sits just 6 km off the coast to the northeast of Cancun. For those wanting a break from the glitz of Cancun, Isla Mujeres is a refreshing throwback to the days before Cancun even existed.
Isla first gained international attention for its outstanding aquatic conditions. Clear, warm water, abundant marine life, reefs and caves attracted Jacques Cousteau who was guided by local dive legend Ramon Bravo. Snorkeling sites are abundant, though those frequented by Cancun party boats can be crowded at certain times of the day. A better choice is the area adjacent to the airstrip, just to the south of the city. Most of Isla’s residents live from diving and fishing. They make very hospitable hosts for both day-trippers and overnight guests.
The tourist ferry dock near the Island’s northern tip is where visitors disembark to enter the island’s main settlement. The town is home to simple shops, a few restaurants, some funky bars, an occasional brightly painted clapboard

A vacation is a wonderful way for us to have a break from every day stresses and schedule conflicts. A luxury cruise can offer all these things and much more. Personally experiencing what a luxury cruise has to offer, I can guarantee a cost worthy, indulgent and memorable experience. The most enjoyable vacation I’ve experienced was a luxury cruise .Over the span of 4 days I was able to travel from Miami, Fl all the way to Conzumel , Mexico. Having experienced such a wonderful vacation in a short four day cruise, I would like to propose a long, luxurious, and romantic fourteen night cruise for our family of two. This ultimate dream vacation would take us from the Gulf of Mexico, to the Bahamas and everywhere in between. This dream vacation is well worth the price. Having your hotel, restaurant, entertainment, and transportation all in one place makes for a very relaxation experience. Whereas other vacation hot spots may have you running around and wasting your vacation time. The cost of the fair pays for all the gourmet food you will be having and allows twenty four hour room service. Taking a luxury cruise, allows for a very indulgent vacation. My Dream Vacantion

...My dream vacantion Throughout my life I want have the chance to travel to the places I have wanted to go to. The first place that I would want to travel to is New York. I would like to go to New York City. I have never been there, but I have heard so many good things about that place. I would like to go to college out there, but I don't think that is going to happen. Some reasons why I want to go there is because I want to see the Statue of Liberty, in person. Someday I would like to move there. I think that one of the main reasons why I want to go to college, and someday move there, is because I want to get away from the desert life, and experiment with a new life style. Another reason why I want to move there is because I am the kind of person, who always wants to be on the go, and always doing something. Also because I am the kind of person who likes the city life, and I like to be around people.  Some where else I would like to go is the tiny island of Bermuda. Ever since I can remember I have wanted to go to the Bermuda Triangle. I'm not really sure why I want to go to Bermuda and the Bermuda Triangle, but it is some where I would like to go. Venice

...that we were going on this journey. Everything was ready. I was going to Venice, the city of the love, with my boyfriend. We had been planning this for two years. It was going to be an absolutely wonderful vacation and it turned out that I would spend1 the most beautiful moments in my life there. Venice is my favorite vacation spot because its romance, entertainment, and its charming historical places. Venice is the best city to have romantic moments. The most romantic thing in my life was taking a gondola ride with my boyfriend through the canals of Venice. We were taking a walk in the evening, and suddenly I found myself in a gondola. It was his plan. The sun was setting as we passed through the old buildings. I felt that I was living in the 13th century. During the ride, we enjoyed the views of the historical Venice houses. The old houses which are both sides of the canals were the best. Also, our gondolier made that ride unforgettable for us with a bottle of wine. The gondolier did everything to ensure that our ride would never be forgotten. After that, it was very romantic to watch the stars above at the historical stone bridges on the canal, all the while being surrounded by live music. All these things make Venice the best choice for our romantic vacation. Venice is known as one of the best places for huge carnivals in Europe. “The Carnival of Venice” is the most popular carnival. We had not planned to attend this carnival. It started three days...

Kingsville is also home to the most famous hunting ranch in the world, The King Ranch. These two outdoorsman paradises make Kingsville a year-around attraction for everyone from hard-earned dignitaries to blue collar families spending their hard-earned vacation time. There is one thing Kingsville does not have to support this year-round attraction; an outdoor super store to supply all the necessities one may need to enjoy their hunting and fishing needs. Kingsville offers everything a sportsman could dream of but they need a place for that sportsman to buy the products they need to chase that dream. A store that sells quality hunting, fishing, birding, and outdoor equipment would be extremely profitable to the storeowner and the community. The store could offer products like fishing gear such as rods, reels, tackle, and bait; hunting gear that included guns, shells, decoys, camo, and feeders; feed for deer, livestock, fish; ATV’s such as 4-wheelers; and apparel. They could also sell snacks, drinks, and ice. Universal Vs Disney World Essay

...that let them live out fantasies. As for the park’s location, the spot was chosen by Walt Disney himself. He wanted to operate his own city away from Orlando, which is why Walt Disney World currently occupies so much space. His plans to run a city slipped through after his death, but the Disney company still kept the land in hopes for expansion later. The location is a bit out-of-the-way, since it is not technically in Orlando, but Interstate 4 passes along the resort’s southern edge and allows for an easy twenty minute drive from the west end of the Orlando International Airport to the parks. Disney’s location is also ideal because they are not bound by land limitations. They can continue expanding their parks, or they could even open a fifth park if they decided to. They could also open more hotels and restaurants to convince more visitors to stay on property. Disney uses prestige pricing to make themselves look like the best theme park option. They also change the price of tickets depending on demand. So, Disney splits days up into value, regular, and peak days. Most of September, January, and February are considered value, the summer months and holidays are peak, and all other days are regular. Their current rate is from $97 for value, $102 for regular, and $114 for peak, and they do not directly offer special rates for large groups. Also, Disney heavily encourages bundle pricing. Guests can purchase vacation packages that bundle park tickets, flight tickets, and a Disney-owned...
