Hi Liz Thank you so much for asking about how my first time covering a political campaign. It went great. I was so nervous because my boss actually trusted me to handle a huge story like this on my first run. I am on cloud nine right now! I am so excited about the work that I have put out. I have always wanted to be a serious writer so I could put out good reliable pieces that the world can rely on and appreciate. As you know I have been working so hard to be on this level for a long time and now it is finally my time. I am finally making a name for myself. I can finally show what I am made of. As a writer it is my duty to every human being to inform everyone on what is happening around the world. Part of the reason that I decided to be a journalist was because I was so tired and aggravating from seeing the non-reliable articles that were not fit to be put on paper. Come on!! You believed most of the trash that was put out every day. So to me it was never about finding a career that I can generate a nice wealthy income from. Writing is my passion and my life. I would get discouraged at times but after the magnificent piece that I put out, I now know that I belong in this career field. Let me be the first person to tell you that this piece was hard to follow. There are so many websites and stories going around that I had to search hard and deep to figure out what stories were credible. I have researched every online site from the Huffington post, Daily Kos, Colbert Nation, and even The Hill. There are so many stories floating around out there that contradict each other. Luckily for me, I knew a close and reliable source to the campaign. She gave me so much needed information that helped me create the best story of my entire career. Although I am a little worried now about how my story might affect the world, I really don’t care because the truth needed to be told. I wonder what my next assignment will be about, but I tell you one thing it will be better than this one.
