...M4 - Analyse the feedback received from the interviewer In our mock interviews we were given feedback on the answers we gave. For my general appearance the score I got was 5/5 and the comment I got was that I looked really smart and that I took the interview seriously, even though it was a mock interview I believe that you have to make a lasting impression because my interviewer was from British Gas, if I applied for a job there in the future then it may put me in a better position as I have already made a good impression in this mock interview. For my body language I also scored 5/5, the comments I got was that I made really good eye contact, this is important as it shows that you are engaged and listening also that you are interested in what the interviewer is saying as well as this another comment was that I appeared really confident, this is also a crucial skill to possess as if you appear confident then the interviewer will not have to push you to answer questions and develop your answers. If you appear confident even though you are nervous it will leave a good impression with the interviewer as you will seem interested and that you want to the job more than other people who have applied. For the overall clarity of my answers I scored 4/5, the comments I received was that I gave really clear strong examples for each questions, the reason I scored 4/5 was because I did not always provide how I overcame the problems that occurred, in future interviews I will take this feedback...

Jordan has 6 championship rings, and numerous MVP’s. He is 6’7 and couldn’t be stopped when he was in his prime. Michael Jordan’s story to me makes him the most influential player in basketball. Another reason that makes him so influential is his name. MJ is known worldwide and there are numerous statues around the world in his honor. Finally the way he entertained his audience on the court is a reason why he is influential (espn.com). Michael Jordan was born in Brooklyn but his home town was in Wilmington, NC. He attended Laney high school in Wilmington where he failed to make his school’s varsity basketball team. That did not stop him, he not only made his high school varsity team but he went to North Carolina University and led them to win the championship in 1983(nba.com). The next year he was drafted by the Chicago Bulls, that year he began his road to superstardom (nba.com). Michael Jordan’s name is one of the most popular names in the world. ...Nike Basketball and Accessories Our Marketing plan is to sell Nike Basketballs, rims, nets, shirts, socks, shoes, and head bands. The main purpose is to promote the basketball and tell you why Nike is different from our competitors. A basketball is an inflated ball used in the game of basketball. Basketballs typically range in size from very small promotional items possibly only a few inches in diameter to extra large balls nearly a foot in diameter used in training exercises to increase the skill of players. The standard size of a basketball in the NBA is 29.5 inches in circumference. Nearly all basketballs have an inflatable inner rubber bladder, generally wrapped in layers of fiber and then covered with a tacky surface made either from leather (traditional), rubber, or a synthetic composite. As in most inflatable balls, there is a small opening to allow the pressure to be increased or decreased. The surface of the ball is nearly always divided by "ribs" that are recessed below the surface of the ball in a variety of configurations and are generally a contrasting color. An orange surface with black ribs and a possible logo is the traditional color scheme of basketballs but they are sold in various colors. Balls are generally designated for indoor (generally made of leather or absorbent composites), or all-surface use (generally made of rubber or durable composites, also known as Indoor/Outdoor balls). Indoor balls tend to be considerably more expensive than all-surface...

...The author, a sports writer named Rick Reilly, seeks to impart the reason why he has chosen to resign to all of his fans as well as highlight the emotional journey that has led up to his retirement. Growing isn’t easy for everybody. Some people have it easy and are able to live a normal life. That however was not the case for Rick Reilly; he grew up with a drunk of a father that used to abuse him. Which resulted in Reilly developing a need to be a better father to his children than his father was to him. This serves as the basis for why Reilly thinks that it is his time to resign. In other words, being a better father is more important to him than his career. To convey that fact Reilly uses a series of rhetorical strategies to persuade the reader into seeing things from his point of view. He uses the appeal pathos to elicit an emotional response from the reader, allowing the audience to be more emotionally invested. The author draws out emotions such as sympathy and sadness to achieve this effect, by using poignant diction such as, “terrifying,” “trembling,” and “temper”. Additionally, he uses a narrative that talks about how horrible his life was growing up due to his father. The use of poignant diction as well as a sad narrative achieves the purpose of making the audience sympathize for the writer, which gives you a clear picture of the kind of person the author is today. The kind of person whose most important priority is being a good father. Reilly then utilizes the drawn-out...

...has ever happened. He was the first person I ever dunked on and the way I did it made it even better. But after I did it what happened later on will also be remembered. How I managed to dunk on him still amazes me this day because i don't know how i managed to do it. We were playing a game called 21 where their are no teams and the first person to score 21 points wins. While your playing and someone scores then shoots a free throw and they miss and if you can catch it and score before you touch the ground then you get the points and they go back to 0 if they don't have at least 11 points. So we were playing and the game was going for a while pretty much all of us had points it was me mason, lyle, darren, and barbie playing and i think darren was winning because he just scored and was shooting free throws and he made the first one so he got to shoot another one and he missed so this is when the dunk happened he shot it so i started to run towards the the rim and lyle jumps for the ball but as i was running i caught the ball with one hand as i jumped and dunked it over lyle with one hand as we both jumped and but darren back to 0 and i scored....
