Like Dwight Lyman Moody had once said, "Character is what you are in the dark." Even when alone, your true nature shines bright. This message can be seen within "Winter," a short story told by my friend, Adam. The story takes place with a young man within a snowy, wintry forest, where those who inhabit it struggle with the constant blizzard that preys among them. Many leave their homes in attempt to search for resources for their families: food, firewood, and materials for clothing and tools. Young hunter-gatherer, Adam, lost his family due to the storm, and as a result, he lives alone. Although his working days have become harder now, this doesn't discourage him from making the most of what he's been left with. He soon faces a decision that
