Eating at Home or at Restaurants All the people in the world like food, and they always eat every day such as, breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Everybody has special or different ways to eat or prepare food, and the favorite place to eat food. Some people prefer to eat at restaurants, other people prefer to prepare and eat food at home. I prefer to eat at home for two reasons that are the health and comfortable. First, I often prepare the food and eat at home because eating at home is healthier than eating at restaurants. When you cook or prepare a meal in your home, you can add some great value at your meal. For example, you can make a special meal by choosing healthy food that includes Vitamins and Carbohydrates. I mean, you can control and choose what kind of food you like to eat. On the other hand, eating at restaurants is not healthy because the restaurants are not responsible for your health, and they don’t care about your health. For example, eating food at restaurants has high fat and bacteria. Second, when you eat at your home, you feel comfortable. You can do anything as you like. For example, when I decide to eat at your home; you can eat lying or standing. On the other hand, at restaurants you can’t feel comfortable because everybody watches you, and you can’t speak or laugh loudly because it is public space. In sum, I think every person from every country or city has a different way to eat food. I often enjoy preparing and cooking food, so I like to eat at my

Some People Like to Eat in Restaurants and at Foodstands, Others Like to Eat at Home. Which Do You Prefer? Give Reasons and Examples to Support Your Choice.

...Eating out can be a very pleasurable experience. Having dinner with a friend, eating a romantic meal while on a date or celebrating some special event with a party at a restaurant are all things we enjoy doing. Even so, there are few people who eat out all the time and eating at home has many points in its favor. It is cheaper to eat at home. It is healthier to eat at home and it is usually much more comfortable. For me, there is no doubt that I prefer eating at home. Firstly, eating at home is much less expensive than eating in a restaurant. Obviously, when we eat at home we do the preparation, cooking and serving of the food ourselves and, therefore, do not need to pay the labor costs of cook, waiter and other restaurant staff. Similarly, we have no other overheads to pay for such as restaurant rent and high utility bills. A further cost saving is that we shop for the ingredients of our home-cooked meals ourselves and can choose those which are cheaper in price. Secondly, eating at home is much better for our health and general wellbeing than dining outside. At home, when cooking for ourselves, we can ensure that what goes into our meals is not bad for us. We can control the amount of oil we use. We can control the amount of salt we use and we can balance our diet to suit our own individual needs. When we eat at a restaurant, none of these things are possible. At home we can also cook just enough food to satisfy us. In a restaurant we are often given too much...

Home Cooked Meal

...In earlier days, a dinner at the restaurant was the most enjoyed family outing, almost like a picnic. These days, it has changed a lot. Your kid can probably tell the menu of the nearest food joint faster than he can spell the alphabet. It’s not just about the kids. The entire concept of eating out has gone to whole different level because of our busy lives. Most families prefer to eat out as it saves a lot of work. But, in that process they forget the health risks they might be facing. So, you need to understand why a home cooked meal does more good than the quick meal at a restaurant nearby. The things that go in The reason a home cooked meal wins over the one from an eat-out is because of the good quality ingredients that go in. Firstly, you know where your produce comes from and you also can make sure that it’s completely clean and fresh. At restaurants, the emphasis is on the taste and to make food taste better lot of other ingredients that go in. At home, the nutrition in your meal comes from using less oil, balancing spices and using moderate quantities of sugar thereby ensuring that what you eat not just tastes good but is good for your health as well. Cooking at home also lets you experiment. Instead of going out to an Italian joint, you could try your hand out at making pasta or lasagna at home. That way you can enjoy a different cuisine cooked with nutritive ingredients instead. The add-ons While eating at home you don’t feel the urge to overeat...

Eating Home or Eating Out

...Eating at home or eating out To human, eating now is not only an action to survive. But it has also become one kind of culture. People now are not only care of what or how they eat. But where they eat is also important. Nowadays, people are too busy with school and work. So, most of the people think that it is more comfortable to eating out than eating at home. But in my point of view, I’d still prefer eating at home than eating out. First, your family know what you eat. I meant that if you have allergy with something or you can’t eat specific thing like spicy, your family know that and they can put that out in your dish. But if you’re in a restaurant even if you told the waiter to put out, most of them usually don’t listen to what you say. So when the dish come out and you can’t eat it, it will be a waste of money. Second, the food at home is much cheaper than the food at the restaurant. For example, if you eat a bowl of Pho at a restaurant, it will cost about 30000 dong at least. But if you buy the ingredients and make it your own it will be way more cheaper about 10000 dong. The reason of this is because the restaurant has to pay extra fees like the worker’s salary, restaurant’s renting, etc. And because they have to cut down the fee to make more profit so the food might no be as healthy as the food you make at home A survey in US show that a family can save up to 2000 dollars a year by reducing the times of eating at a restaurant. And helping your mom...

Opinion Essay Eat at Restaurant or Home

...Generally eating food is one of the actions that everyone enjoys it. As a matter of fact, eating a prepared food like in restaurants has its particular joy. But, in my opinion, I like more making food myself at home and then doing relevant ceremonies before eating food because of below mentioned reasons. First of all, one of the major points in eating food is, knowing about the ingredients. I mean that as fresh and as good quality material we use in food it would be more useful. For example, when I want to prepare rice at home, obviously I would use the best quality. Or making fried potatoes in good oil would be more delicious for me. So, being informed about the material of the food which you are making at home could be one of the advantages of my opinion. Besides, we have to try to enjoy a work which we are doing. To put it simple, imagine you are going to prepare a food. So, in this case preparing all required materials during the process like buying the materials, cutting, boiling and so more would probably make you to enjoy. Finally, the most exciting moment is that you are going to wait to see the result. Thus, making food at home could have fun apart from what you are making. At last, I would like to say that home-cooked food will be definitely much healthier than any outside food. Even if you get the food from any of the top-notch five star restaurant also, it cannot be healthier than home food. In the conclusion, although sometimes eating in restaurants could...

Today people try to save as much time as possible due to the necessity to cope with numerous tasks within a limited amount of time. In the majority of cases modern people have busy work schedules and don’t have enough time to cook a meal. The fast food industry is more popular than ever but is it because fast food restaurants made themselves popular? The American lifestyle has changed and these changes have caused the fast food industry to grow in popularity because of its convenience, it’s inexpensive and the need to eat healthy is not a priority. One of the main reasons why fast food restaurants happen to be so popular is the change in life-style. The American lifestyle has changed greatly over the last few decades, people have demanding work schedules with long hours, children come late from school so parents are left with very little time to think about what to make for dinner. It is difficult for them to divide their time between their job and their responsibilities at home like cooking or finding time to prepare their food. This is why they rather go outside to eat instead of spending time on preparing a meal. Now many families have two household earners, so the mother is not at home all day and able...

Considering that for restaurant meals there is someone else cooking your meal and there is no way of knowing where the ingredients came from and/or how fresh they are. Everyone needs food to survive, however eating fast food rather than a home cooked meal may not be the ideal choice. The difference between fast food and home cooked meals has several differences like preparation time, convenience, and quality. Health problems seem to be linked to the types of foods we eat. Obesity one of the number one issue in the United States alone. Fast foods are blamed for causing the majority of the obesity problems here in America today. Fast food is a convenient food that is usually faster to get and sometimes ready at the time it is wanted. Ultimately fast food slows the metabolism down with all the calories and unhealthy ingredients that can cause people to be overweight which can lead to obesity if we continue to consume as much as we do on a daily basis. An alternative to fast food is a good home cooked meal. Home cooked meals can help fight the war against obesity. Home cooked meals may take time, that most American’s don’t have these days, however they are much healthier for everyone. Cardiovascular health is affected by the foods put into our bodies. Fast Food

...Therefore, the need of rice has become my want and desire. It does not matter what I eat, I don’t feel I am full until I eat rice. Rice can only make me satisfied, happy, and satiated; after coming to the U.S the environment change and I felt like now I get everything that I didn’t have when I was in my country. But as time pass I learned, America is the fastest moving country in fast food eating. People tend to eat outside of the house. This is one of the main factors that cause obesity. There are lots of reasons that people choose to eat processed foods. Today in our society, time is one of the biggest issues on their schedules because the people in here are always busy working or engaging in some sort of activities. For example, work, college and their personal time consume a lot of time on a daily basis. Besides those activities, all these fast food restaurants, good taste of fast or processed food, and less time to prepare processed food are making people lazy and they ignore to cook at home. It will even be better if at least people try to make themselves a fresh healthy meal for a day. Healthy eating is not only important for our health but it’s important for our personal well beings. For example: the “Benefits of a healthy diet includes a strengthened immune system; improved body weight, energy and physical strength; improved emotional health and extended life expectancy. Obesity in Our Children

...greatly impacted the health of those affected. Additionally, as it is explained by Katherina Maximova, children who are “exposed to overweight parents and schoolmates were more likely to misperceive their own weight status” meaning that children exposed to overweight people in their lives were more likely to not consider it an issue or a health hazard. As I was somewhat overweight myself when I was younger, I can easily relate to difficulty of finding their determination to take action against their weight problem. Having had this problem, I realize that also finding a way to alter eating habits and increase the amount of exercise as a child can be difficult. As I look back at myself and remember the lifestyle that would surround me, I felt as if my overweight problem had not been properly introduced as a possible health risk by my parents or my friends. Due to the immediate availability of fast food restaurants, as a child, I was increasingly vulnerable to becoming overweight. Taking into consideration that the people surrounding me in my life had been somewhat overweight themselves, obesity had been considered the norm. Through my research, I have discovered that the struggle problem with obesity has been around since the Ancient Egyptians era. It is my aspiration to shed light on this subject and to bring about an idea of how to improve on the issue of obesity through the means of educating children to make better decisions related to their diets. Time spent watching TV displaces more active pursuits such as out-door physical activities. More-over, fast-food consumption among children appears to be negatively associated with the quality of diet in ways that plausibly could increase body weight. Benefit of Eating Home Cooked Meal

...and cook meals at home. And most of the people prefers to eat fast-food to save their time. But at my point of view, I still prefer to eat at home as it contains high nutritional value which is good for our body health. Firstly, high nutritional value is the main reason why I prefer the home- cooked food. Home-cooked food with high nutritional value is good for our health. It contains uniform nutrient and high vitamin value or healthy diet which can prevent many common health problems. Childhood Obesity

...CHILDHOOD OBESITY Most of the people in the world will assume that a fast food restaurant should be held responsible for the childhood obesity increase, when in fact the parents and kids who purchase and consume unhealthy foods are responsible for their own choices. We live in a society that has changed dramatically over the past decade or so. Many of these changes, such as both parents working outside of the home, longer work hours by both parents, and meals eaten outside of the home often affect what children eat, where they eat, and how much they eat. Many of these so called habits that people have accepted as a normal way of life are contributing to the growing levels of childhood obesity. It is a parent’s right and responsibility to make their own decisions and in choosing what is right for their children. Parents can and do have a say about what their kids eat. Most parents today are introducing junk foods and foods offered in fast food restaurants during their children’s early years. Parents play a role as household makers. They make the decisions on food availability in the home, and create the setting for what foods are being eaten. The temptations with all the commercials among other things for fast food that are out there being offered can be hard for a parent/kid to ignore.
