As a current college student myself, I understand that university life is a non-stop whirlwind of classes, sports, clubs, work, random shenanigans, and excessive fraternization with the opposite sex.
Trust me, I get it.
I also understand that learning how to strategically and consistently incorporate healthy options while enjoying the benefits of college may appear to be a near impossibility.
Fortunately, this couldn’t be further from the truth.
While most college students undoubtedly want to maintain a healthy diet, I believe the large majority of them are more or less uncertain as to which foods provide the greatest benefit.
In an attempt to educate my readers and make healthy eating as simple as possible, I have created this

...Eating is an activity that we as humans do at least two or three times a day. We eat to live. We live in a world where the variety of food is extremely large, and we are responsible for what we eat. We decide what we are about to eat and how it will affect our bodies. The purpose of this essay is to compare and contrast the differences between eating fresh foods instead of frozen foods. The three main differences are flavor, nutritional benefits, and cost. The most common difference between these two kinds of foods is their flavor. Fresh foods have great flavor and taste because they keep all their natural conditions. Most especially when it’s brand new picked. Canned foods however, lack a lot of its flavor characteristics because there are some other chemical products added to the natural foods. They are processed shortly after they are picked. It is obvious that the fresh foods will have a greater taste and flavor when consumed just because of the time in which they have been prepared. Comparing both types of foods we notice another difference. There is a health factor that affects both of them. Frozen foods lose some of the original fresh food nutrients when stored, and also it has to be tinned with many conservatives and chemical factors that prolong the shelf life and the freshness of the food but could also become toxic if consumed too often. ...Eating at home or eating out To human, eating now is not only an action to survive. But it has also become one kind of culture. People now are not only care of what or how they eat. But where they eat is also important. Nowadays, people are too busy with school and work. So, most of the people think that it is more comfortable to eating out than eating at home. But in my point of view, I’d still prefer eating at home than eating out. First, your family know what you eat. I meant that if you have allergy with something or you can’t eat specific thing like spicy, your family know that and they can put that out in your dish. But if you’re in a restaurant even if you told the waiter to put out, most of them usually don’t listen to what you say. So when the dish come out and you can’t eat it, it will be a waste of money. Second, the food at home is much cheaper than the food at the restaurant. For example, if you eat a bowl of Pho at a restaurant, it will cost about 30000 dong at least. But if you buy the ingredients and make it your own it will be way more cheaper about 10000 dong. ...Conscious Eating My first thought when I looked at this assignment I thought it was going to be really strange. I really don’t think I have ever eaten in complete silence, so the idea of doing that was just kind of intimidating for some reason. So it was really hard to find a good time to do this. Once I finally decided to sit down and eat my meal, I made sure to turn off the TV, put my phone on silent, and close my laptop; otherwise, just out of habit, I would have ended up playing around on one of them. For my meal, I had a piece of fried chicken, a biscuit, and some mashed potatoes, not the healthiest meal ever, but it was definitely tasty. It was kind of nice to allow myself to really focus on the food itself, taking in the smells, the textures, and the taste. The chicken smelled great, but the texture was really nice. When I bit into it, it made a really loud crunching noise. I also got to savor how juicy it was, which was really nice. The best part about the biscuit was the way it smelled: when I lifted it up to my mouth, I could smell the butter and the flour and it just made me want to take a big bite.
