Introduction

Electronic commerce, commonly known as E-commerce or e-Commerce, is trading in products or services using computer networks, such as the Internet. With the wide spread of computer network, communication technology and the internet, e-commerce, as an advanced transaction method, which is based on the computer network, is fashionable all over the world.
Since 2000, growth in e-commerce has been significant, with a 19 percent compound annual growth rate through 2013, according to data from a recent survey conducted by consulting firm AlixPartners and presented by Stifel Transportation & Logistics Research Group. In the last two years, in particular, there has been a 45 percent increase in the average number of annual orders made online, with 50 percent of survey respondents now ordering online at least once a month.
E-commerce growth has sparked a need for free shipping and quick delivery services as the consumers want it almost instantly. That brings e-commerce to the necessity of having an efficient supply chain.
Supply chain management under e-commerce environment is combination of e-commerce and supply chain management. It focus on customers, integrates whole the process of supply chain, makes full use of external resources, realizes rapid and sharp reaction, immensely reduce the level of stock.

For e-commerce, the supply chain management is more challenging than traditional retail model. Because to think through the process, it is easily realizable that one cannot afford to keep the kind of inventory one needs in order to do the business he wants.
