The Econmy

...The economic situation that United States is in isn’t getting any better and has gotten worst within the last 5 years. This year we are on pace to have gas prices go up to 5 dollars, millions are still out of work and food prices are going nothing but up. Go back to 2008 jobs was easier to get, employment wasn’t down as it is now, businesses wasn’t going out of business and the president didn’t have all of this on his plate. This year employment is up to which is the highest which is 8 percent, new president which mean more issues and one problem that arose was that the troops came home which added to more Americans that are unemployed which mean less jobs. Business wise the economy suffered a lot more because there is competition more when it comes to low prices, more similar products and because everyone want a low price, because people want to save money and find the lowest price. Example would have to be with cereal people want the best tasting kind such as name brand but to save money that find a substitute and buy store brand which comes with half the good taste. It is hard for a firm to sell a product that doesn’t have substitutions because if you set it to a high price not a lot of people will buy it and in this economy when it comes to saving money and feeding a family much less yourself you have to make your money go a long way so the lowest price will...

There is a relationship between affordable healthcare and the economy. The impact Obamacare has on the economy can be viewed through a simple math equation, a return on investment analysis. The return on investment analysis revealed a positive return on investment. The results suggest American has invested wisely. ...Reasons why it would be good is because it creates jobs and attracts business. Where people can go to do all their shopping conveniently. Because all the stores are right next to each other. Instead of having to drive across town to find what they are looking for. So it boosts econmy and saves people time and money. Because people don't have to get in and out of their cars and drive 10 to 25 minutes across town to find what they are needing. Plus they save gas so there for they are saving money.\ Reasons why It would not be a good idea. It will also put people out of business. Which is not good for the town. It will cause the population of the town to go down. Because the people who owned the small little stores will be forced to close and move to a new town to re open. plus with the traffic situation we will also lose money because we will have to expand the width of the highways. Just so people can make it out there. So here is my conclusion I say that the building of the stores is a great risk and a great longterm benefit for the town because It will allow the continuing of the town to grow. but in a short-term we will lose a lot with this project. but in a few years we will get it all back if not more. because it will start to drawl attention to the town wich will increase houses being built and a major population increase and allow more business to move in and the town will become a city and benefit even...

The Nile made this happen and therefore greatly impacted Egypt’s economy. The Nile was a transport mechanism that transported good in-between ports such as grain, Stones such as limestone and quarries were transported along the Nile on barges. A source of evidence that shows this is Hatsheput’s mortuary temple, that features a scene of obelisks being transported from Aswan to Thebes. This made Egpyt a well known, dominant econmy. The economy heavily relied on the agriculture that the inundation from the Nile brought to the Egyptians. There were three distinct seasons that helped the agriculture, the first one was the season of Akhet which was when the river flooded, the second season was Peret that the waters would leave a black silt for ploughing and sowing the crops that was very fertile and lastly, the season of Shemu which were when the crops were harvest and stored in granaries. ...Industry Forecasting Porsche is a leader when it comes to sports cars. When thinking sports cars you cannot help but think of Porsche. Porsche has been around since 1931and has had its ups and downs in the auto industry but is still going strong with over 80 years under its belt. Porsche has a rich past in design and engineering and quality assurance. Porsche was created by Dr. Ferdinand Porsche “as a vehicle design firm in 1931 and did work for car companies” (Sass, 2009). Porsche has been different from the beginning by being “known in its early days as the Porsche Engineering Office, Porsche did not start off as an automaker, but rather a firm that sold designs and engineering services to other car makers” (Henderson & Reavis, 2009). Porsche did not design its first car until 1934. The first car Porsche designed was at the request of Adolf Hitler who “commissioned Porsche to make a “peoples car” or “Volkswagen” (Henderson & Reavis, 2009). It was not until after the war that Porsche designed and produced its first sports car. The first “Porsche 356 series rolled off production lines” (Henderson & Reavis, 2009) in 1948. Dr. Ferdinand Porsche and his son Ferry Jr. would run the company until Ferry Jr. took over after his father’s death in 1951. ...2.1 Discuss the models of strategic change. The pace with which organisations face change together with its workers have been increasing tremendously for many years now. According to Julia, B. and Veronica,H.(2008), “change has become a way of life, in any part because organisations are experiencing many different types of changes”. Many schools of thought have come up with ideas or models which identify the phases of change in organisations and the best way to implement them. Some of them include the Force field analysis and the Continuous improvement models of change. Force field analysis The Force field analysis model was originally developed by Kurt Lewin in 1947 which is now the most commonly used method to “map a plan for goal achievement” (Fred, B.and Steven, C.2010). This approach uses the idea that in a change process, there are both the driving and restraining forces that will either enhance or inhibit the progress to change. Driving forces are those forces that push for and promote change and which will obviously produce positive results while restrainers are forces that will block the intended positive outcomes or make change more difficult. Examples of driving forces are customer complaints, long waits of service, increased efficiency, new technology, among others. Some restraining forces include fear of change, lack of knowledge or skills, lack of training and motivation. This is diagrammatically represented below: BEFORE CHANGE ...
