EDA 5191 Leadership in Education: School Improvement Theory and Practice Leadership in Education: School Improvement Theory and Practice class was a wonderful class that focused on sustaining success, culture, and community within a school. The class enclosed Failure is Not an Option, by Alan Blankstein. As I worked through the book chapters within each module the mission, vision, values and goal of a school came to be the heart of the school. The book was constructive as to deal with principles that included achievement, collaboration, data, family and community involvement, and sustainability.
