“Be good to Eddie Lee” is about a little boy named Eddie Lee and he has Down Syndrome. Christy, his sister, does not want him around. She avoids him by telling him that he cannot go everywhere with her. There was until one day Eddie Lee takes Christy to a secret place in the woods where they found beautiful things by a pond such as: frog eggs, and water lilies. At the end Christy finds that her brother is cool to hang around.
I enjoyed reading this book because it teaches children to accept children that have special needs. Even though, children with special needs are not developed the same they all want the same respect. These children are unique in their own way and can teach someone something new about life. I loved seeing the illustrations.
