In one of the statement in the article of “Managing employee empowerment in luxury hotels in Europe” implies that training does not have a direct influence on empowerment. For myself, I believe training is the most effective way to understand and get used to the increase authority empowered by a manager. My point of view is if I have well training from my manager and I have a clear objective outline from the firm, I can improve and deliver better service, more than that I can make a good judgment by myself. To support this there’s theory about effective training can supports the goals of empowerment by enhancing morale and motivation, increasing flexibility, reducing staff turnover, and allowing employees to function independently without the need of constant supervision (Hope andMühlemann,1997). The following case was my pervious experience working in Bliss Spa in W Hong Kong; I am empowered to order cup cake to spa guest from the hotel B&F outlet with an agreement between department that there are no other choice beside cup cake, there are no flexibility on it, as usual I making an booking for the loyalty guest, I realized that her birthday were coming, I wanted to create a special moment for her, while I made an order to the B&F outlet, I discovered a special comment on the guest profile, guest had allergy with eggs, I made a special request with the chef like cake or cookies made with flower but no eggs, but I got an excuse from the chef that they were busy and they had no time to bake an new cake for our guest, I am so disappoint with that, and they were not willing to help us even an small request.

For my result in the test of “Conflict- management style”, my style are on the side of collaborator and accommodator, I am not totally agree with the outcome because in the actual situation, I know I will avoid the conflict happen, I think am more suit in
