Ender’s Game book v.s. movie essay

Have you ever wiped out an entire species before? Of course not, but Ender Wiggin has. Ender’s Game is about a kid named Ender Wiggin who at the age of 6 learns that it’s his destiny to save the human race. he goes on an adventure through battle school while his two siblings back home struggle with control of the world around them. The book was the better option to experience the story Ender Wiggin due to the detailed story. There are many important factors to Ender’s Game that need to be preserved in order for the story to make sense and get its point across. First, one of the most important elements of the book is how Peter has to have power over Ender and Valentine. Peter tells ender in the book how control is the only power that matters and how he needs to have it. this piece of info is included in the book but only partially in the movie. Firstly, Petra and Dink warn Ender that Bonzo and others are plotting his death while in battle school. Although the fight is shown in both the movie and the book, the movie fails to show the important warning Ender gets before it which shows his true friends. Another small difference that bugged most people about the movie is about the size of Bonzo’s actor. Bonzo is supposed to be a lot bigger than Ender but turns out looking like a midget to Ender. One of the most important plot points in the book that does not show up in the movie is Valentine and Peter’s characters Demosthenes and Locke. These people that they appear as online are important to the endgame of the story which is why the movie doesn't have much of what the book showed as its end. All in all, the movie missed some critical plot points which is why it fails to capitalize on the books success in story
