In modern societies, today children, teens, and adults analyze the lives of celebrities. Everyday people around the world fantasy on what it would be like to be in the shoes of a famous person. They would give anything to be where that person is now. Now a day every celebrity has an endorsement deals. Everywhere you look there is a celebrity trying to make you buy something. Most people do fall for it. They think it will bring them the attention they want. They think just because Beyonce wears butt pads it is okay to wear them. Although people would say people should be smart enough not to believe it, however, it does not matter these advertisements are ruining people’s lives, and they should be stopped.

These advertisements are ruining people’s lives. When children, teens, and even adults see advertisements they waste their money purchasing it. They think that since this celebrity has it they can too. They do not realize that they do not have the same amount of money that those people do. That is why people usually go into debt because they spend money they do not have on the product they desire. They need that product to experience. They only want it because someone else has it. For example, the old spice commercial they say if you wear their product it will bring you the attention of every “hot girl”. Now you and I both know that is not true, but you only buy it because it is on television. Even though that is not a bad, product to buy because you need that. It is the simple fact that the United States people waste of their hard earned money on most of the nonsense they see on advertisements.

Food advertisements are destroying the lives of many. Slowly but surely it is going to happen if someone does not do anything about these food advertisements. For example, the Carl’s Jr. lures their victims by using very attractive women to get them what they want. The stuff they advertise is extremely unhealthy, and they are fully aware of that. They just do not care; the only think America is worried about making money. Business people do not care if they hurt the lives of one million people as long as their pockets are being filled. If you look closely at the commercial you can see that the women they hired to advertise their, product is not even eating it. They are aware it causes health problems but sadly they do not think of the lives of others. It is extremely sad that Americans think this way.

Make-up and Acne advertisements are making women feel un-pretty. When you see a make-up advertisement what do you usually see? You see numerous pulchritudinous women prancing around trying to make you feel bad. You start to wish that you could be as dazzling as the women you see on the commercials. They tell you that you can be as pretty as them by buying the product their selling. Acne advertisements manipulate you into their product. For example, Proactive hires actors and actresses to showcase the product at hand. Proactive uses Justin Bieber a well know singer/actor to flaunt the product. When Justin Bieber already has clear skin, so they deceive you into buying it. Sometimes they usually just use make-up to cover up the acne on their faces.

Therefore, advertisements help America’s people go under. Society defrauds us the people by telling us what to buy, how to look, and how to eat. The commercials you see in your daily life gimmick you, it makes you think you need these products to live. Just because you see celebrities wearing things you assume that you have to have that to fit in with society. Advertisements should be put to a stop; they make Americans feel inferior to the world. We see how women are in the commercial, and we think that, that is what we should have, how we should look, and what we should eat. Slowly but surely they kill us in a way………
