Writing can be a difficult task for anyone that normally doesn’t write on a normal basis. Especially, for individuals that have been out of school for years. Writing, can be taught just like anything else; with taking the time out of your day to practice. However, within the community of writing for academic purposes there are certain things that can be done that’s not intentionally. However, can also be done purposely. Sometimes, when students are at a crunch of time, will possibly do anything and everything to get that paper turn in on time to their professor; hoping that they could just slide-by without thinking the teacher will not notice. With what I just mentioned there is a term for that, and it is called academic plagiarism or plain and simple plagiarism. Plagiarism can be seen as a very severe and at sometimes can lead to suspension from your school or jobs. Plagiarism can also lead to certain fines as well. Plagiarism, basically is trying to take credit for someone else’s work and trying to cover it up as your work. The question that I ask my readers, how are you going to avoid academic plagiarism? First off, Plagiarism can be listed in the bible of academics, it’s a sin to cheat. While many people can say people who cheat can be seen as people who are lazy and willing to cheat the school system. In my opinion, sometimes it can someone who is just confused with writing. I could remember when I first started college, I was terrified with having to write a paragraph, yet alone an essay. However, I was very determined to learn how to write and avoid plagiarism. I saw other students, who would rather earn an honest grade, would go out to certain websites and buy papers or just copy and paste information from the website, which is
