Defining philosophy is an open-ended question; however, we as humans can only attempt to perceive its meaning and unlock perceived views of the meaning of life. This paper is a perspective of philosophy through the affiliation of happiness.

The Buddha defines philosophy as "a way of thinking about the world, or a way of leading a more ethical life? Or is it a kind of psychotherapy - a way of helping us come terms with ourselves and with dilemmas that life constantly throws at us? (Kulananda. Principles of Buddhism,2004) ,alias, “The fundamental aspect of philosophy comes clearly to the forefront/ philosophy was (defined) a way of life (Chase, H. Philosophy as a way of life,1995).

Goals would be worthless without fundamental aspect of desire, there would be no dedication or determination to achieve a higher purpose, no propose, no meaning to life and consequently, an inefficiency of joy resulting in happiness. Thus, this method of thinking cogently expresses that meaning of life, human existence and value are strongly associated with the desire of or for something, resulting in happiness.

Second, with desire comes dedication. Therefore, misfortune circumstances would not be plethora of reason for abandonment in quest of meaning of life. As demonstrated in the file 'Pursuit of happyness' even if the fruition of a better circumstance seemed distant; with desire, the circumstance was not a prevention in a goal conceivably worth trying for; thus, life presents infinitive possibilities to achieve meaning to life through aspects of ambitions/goals/dreams, that ultimately results to the pursuit of happiness.

Third, happiness is not contented but there is opportunity to pursue it, moreover; this pursuit may require the need of self-engagement, the understating of others and open mindedness of surrounding in order to desire to be something or do something. It is then, that the commitment to achieve that something or be that someone, that creates a fulfilment of life which surely follows
