Introduction
As a youth leader working with different age groups, the question of what constitutes the essential activity of Christian ministry is a critic alone. The drive can be to simply educate about the Bible in a Christian setting, to drive spiritual foundation or to nurture discipleship of Jesus Christ. What is really important is to establish what really separates these theories or whether there is significant similarity. While many answers about education have been developed and published by nonspiritual authors, finding answers in the Christian setting require a rather different considerations as the spiritual aspect is a part. God is difficult to comprehend in scientific evaluation, however we can evaluate answers to the quest for an answer based on what Scripture teaches. In Chapter 1 of our text Mitchell states “Jesus expected his disciples to follow him, experience life change, and participate in something remarkable” (p 3). So in order to evaluate the statement “The essential activity of Christian ministry” we much follow his directions and lead as Jesus did.
Education, Discipleship and Spiritual Formation Three terms need definition for the further discussion: education, discipleship and spiritual formation.
Education
In his book, Mitchell provides his answer to the question “What Is Christian Education?” with “Make a Disciple who Worships Jesus.” ¹ He writes that the “overarching and ultimate goal of Christian education is producing disciples who worship Jesus.” ²
Mitchell also states “the creative process of utilizing external and internal forces to facilitate the functions of teaching and training in promoting and attaining growth and development, enabling complete individuals to comprehend, contemplate, and contribute to their community and culture.” (p. 233) once we attempt to identify and define education, it is very important to recognize the value of it. Reading chapter 8 we found out that teaching is an art. Mitchell touched on Gilbert Highet’s text, The Art of Teaching, he states, “I believe teaching is an art, not a science. It seems to me very dangerous to apply the aims and methods of science to human beings as individuals, although a statistical principle can often be used to explain their behavior in large groups and a scientific diagnosis of their physical structure is always valuable.” (p234). Why some may believe science is a proven methods of working with people, there is no exact science or proven formula that can work for everyone. As Highet states “A scientifically brought up child would be a pitiable monster. A scientific marriage would only be a thin and crippled version of a true marriage. A scientific friendship would be as cold as a chess problem.” (p234) Likewise, purely scientific teaching would make for an inadequate education.
However the term process implies that procedures are implemented and steps are taken. These activities are the practices that, when creatively applied, do produce a product.” In essence, effective and lasting education must involve a focused creativity. The process is necessary, because as Mitchell pointed out, “It implies that someone or something is working and advancement is evident.” (p236)
Discipleship
The author of Purpose Driven Life Rick Warren defines discipleship as “the process of transformation that changes us to be increasingly more like Christ through the Word (John 17:17), the Spirit (2 Cor. 3:18), and circumstance (Rom. 8:28-29). Growth is both mystical and practical; God has a part (“Only God makes things grow” 1 Cor. 3:7) but we have a part as well (“…put off…and put on”Eph.4:22-23). Discipleship is based on continual repentance (“Be transformed by the renewing of your mind” Rom. 12:1-2). It takes far more than Bible study to grow a disciple – it takes a balance of worship experiences, fellowship experiences, engagement with the Word, ministry experiences, and evangelism/mission experiences. Without balance there is no health, and without health, there is no growth. Jesus modeled both the method and goal of all discipleship, moving the 12 from “Come and see” to “Come and die!” over a period of three years. The strategy we’ve used for 32 years (purpose driven) is a systematic, sequential catechism that moves people along the predictable stages of discipleship from unbeliever to believer to member to maturity to ministry to mission, based on Jesus’ model. If you don’t have a process, you aren’t making disciples, because spiritual growth is not automatic. Discipleship is intentional, incremental, relational, covenantal, habitual, and incarnational (2007 Warren). Mitchell adds to this picture that one of the objectives of making disciples through discipleship ministries is the reconciliation of two estranged parties, God and man, separated by a gulf that was created by the sin that separates a sinless God from sinful man. He reminds us that the term ³disciple(s) ´ is found 294 times in the pages of the New Testament. Barna highlights two critical elements of discipleship: the becoming of a fully committed follower of Christ, followed by the desire to instill the passion and commitment for Christ in others. (Barna, p. 9) A Christian disciple then, is one who has forsaken his or her former life to submit to what Mitchell calls the “intentional training of people who voluntarily submit to the lordship of Christ and who want to become imitators of Him in every thought, word, and deed.” (p. 6) During the training of disciple we must seek to build effective ministries to reach the lost, that’s where the principle of education comes into play. There has to be a set of procedure to follow, the act of training followers of Jesus to minister to others and go out into the world to make other disciples has to be done in a way that does not neglect the individual. As Ron Chadwick states “a complete process of education includes both impression and expression-nourishing and exercise.” (p 231). In other words The effective discipleship would involve both the passive approach (focusing primarily on the lesson, then placing the responsibility of absorbing the knowledge onto the learner), and an active approach (here, the attention is placed on the learner) and an active approach (here, the attention is placed on the learner, with responsibility of properly presenting the information placed on the lesson). Spiritual Formation Dave Jenkins states “Spiritual formation and discipleship are alike in that they both help the believer learn to model the life and teachings of Jesus.” (Jenkins, 2011) Spiritual formation aids the disciple’s inwardly conformity to the likeness of Christ while discipleship is the means by which the disciple manifests the likeness of Christ in his attitude and behavior. John Armstrong describes spiritual formation, as referring to “Christian growth through a definite process of living the Christian life by the Holy Spirit. It also refers to the means, or methods, by which this life is to be lived. Embedded in the term is the idea of development, arrangement, organization and synthesis.”
CHURCH MINISTRY PRIORITY In reading the text we find that discipleship, education, and spiritual formation are similar in that they each simulate the growth of the believer in their walk in faith. All of these elements uses a variety of tools to achieve that end. The church responsibility if to empower and equip disciples to go forth evangelizing to the world. The good news of Christ must be shared by a passing of information through personal interaction; thereby creating an environment that moves the person closer to Christ. It is then the Holy Spirit’s responsibility to draw and convict those far from God into a saving relationship with Jesus Christ. As Mitchell briefly states the end purpose of Christian education is to engage “learners in acquiring the mind and skill sets necessary for an increasingly mature understanding of the Creator, the created order, and themselves as created in the image of God, while also discovering their contribution and place in God’s kingdom, as well as their community.”
WORSHIP CONNECTION Paul teaches us in Roman 12 that worship is what’s needed. There is a deep rooted connection between worship, education, discipleship, and spiritual formation; which cannot be overlooked. Worship is an integral part of the spiritual formation of each and every Christian. Worship bring together the congregation and unifies the body. Dallas Willard states “you lead people to become disciples of Jesus by ravishing them with a vision of life in the kingdom of the heavens in the fellowship of Jesus. You do this by proclaiming, manifesting and teaching the kingdom to them in the manner learned by Jesus himself.” When a church is gathered together and people are led in worship, many things are happing that facilitates the growth and development of disciples who love and worship Jesus. First, God is being glorified. Second, the scripture is being taught through word and song. A heart aligned with God’s Word and an understanding of its purpose for existence is one that can truly sing praises. Discipleship provides a very personal route of translating what a mature believer knows about the true character of God to a younger-in-the-faith believer. Not only is the younger believer built up, but the more mature believer is reminded of just how praiseworthy God is.

CONCLUSION The moment we allow salvation to occur in our lives, and the object of worship fundamentally changes from self to Christ it is then that the ministry of the church is most effective because it is the culmination of the essential activity of Christian ministry. The preparation of disciples through education, and discipleship leads people toward the further spiritual formation as they continue growing closer to Christ. We have the perfect example Jesus Christ, He served as our primary example of how to disciple others: He taught, modeled, exhorted and encouraged His disciples.

Followership in Cases of Conflict of Interest

...| Followership in cases of conflict of interest. | By: Modupe Blessing Igbafen ABSTRACT An area is usually perceive as basic concerning the piece of followers in definitive ethics is aficionados' responses to dishonest requests by a leader (Carsten & Uhl-Bien, 2007). Followers face moral issues when leaders approach them with wrong requests, for instance, asking for that they take part in practices, which are doubtlessly beguiling. In such circumstances, supporters must settle on a decision: They can choose to stay up to the beguiling sales (e.g., by troublesome the pioneer's request, declining to join in exploitative direct or proposing alternative strategies) or they can oblige the pioneer's allure, largely getting the opportunity to be complicit with the untrustworthy behavior. This decision will apparently be connected with their emotions about follower’s relationship with pioneers, and their particular part. For followers to have the ability to stay up to a pioneer's exploitative sales, they ought not to see their followership part as reserved and obedient. Maybe, they must feel a commitment as a dynamic part in the administration process (Carsten & Uhl-Bien, 2007) INTRODUCTION. The idea of conflict of interest is more important today than any other time in recent memory. Moral sensitivities about the relationship in the middle of experts and those they serve are a wellspring of steady verbal confrontation. This book sets another standard for chip away...

They make such opinions the starting point for their own musings upon the subjects they are studying. Such musings aid them in making sense out of their courses and academic experiences by finding relationships among them. Reflective students continually label and index their experiences and ideas, put them into structures, outlines, summaries, and frames of reference. They rearrange and file them. Best of all, they have an eye for the vital-for the essential. Unless ideas are placed in categories, unless they are taken up from time to time for re-examination, they will become inert and soon forgotten. 5. Review. The authors started with explaining the essential problem which was the language from its legal terms that would let users’ photos to be used or sold for other companies (McCullagh & Tam, 2012). Furthermore, the article stated and analyzed the company’s CE respond along with the user’s disagreements to the new terms. Also, the way the new terms policy would be viewed has been mentioned which was about using public pictures on ads if users decided to delete their accounts. This article has many interesting points that related to the language of terms and conditions. What if users did not complain about a specific language and make this condition vague? How to Skin a Perfect 5 Skin

...There are eight essential components you will require for the construction of a "fatty five skin". These are.... firstly you will need to acquire 5 of the finest rolling papers, you will then have to construct your standard three skin setup, but then (and here's the twist) you proceed to gummy your next two skins. You may want to make a "super doint" by either putting an L on it (adding an extra skin to the end to make it that little bit longer) or making a similar five skin setup and make it a caribbean by sticking the two setups together side by side so it's double width (and then put and L on it to make it that little bit longer again). Next you will need the finest green card to make your gargantuan rocket roach. This is no ordinary roach. This kind of roach can be made out many household objects that may be just knocking around, for example, train tickets, footy tickets, the top of your skin packet (this is the most common). If your roach appears to be too wide and you fear the risk of "shooters" (bits of baccy flying through the roach and in to your airways) then do not be afraid to make a thinner roach to post inside your original roach. This will prevent any frisky shooter being capable of moving and you will feel a strong sense of satisfaction knowing that you showed that shooter who's boss. Now if you ever find yourself trying to roll the perfect 5 skin but you are outside then this is not a one man job. You will need your boiz. One to table your joint in the safest...
