This is the eulogy of Ethan C. Freeburne, who passed away in the mountains saving his entire hiking group from a collapsing rock face, at the age of sixteen. He was born in Southeast Idaho in a moderately sized town called Pocatello, Idaho. His parents were Rebecca J. Freeburne and Chris M. Freeburne, whom he lived with until his family moved to Aberdeen, Idaho. They lived there for two years, then shortly after having Ethan’s sister, Brianna J. Freeburne, his parents decided to move to a small town called Blackfoot, Idaho. He lived there for the rest of his life; at age five, Ethan attended the Irving Kindergarten Center. After that, he went to school at Ridge Crest Elementary for grades one through five. When he was twelve, Ethan went to…show more content… Ethan would constantly practice fast drumming and increasing his speed during his free time. When marching band season was over, he would lift weights and go on walks so that he could feel better and make the most of his time. Ethan always throughout school, would try his hardest and do his best on homework and in class. He wanted to be able to fly through college without spending a dime on classes and materials. While these were his constant goals, Ethan did have several massive plans that he wanted to see carried out. He planned on auditioning for the world champion D.C.I. group known as the Blue Devils. Ethan always admired them and dreamed of being good enough to join their drumline. He always wanted to start a family; looking up to his parents constantly, Ethan wanted to follow in their massive footsteps as good parents. He did date several women in high school that were all wonderful people, but he never got to really truly settle down. Arguably one of his easier goals was going to college, preferably at either Idaho State University or Boise State University. He always new that he wanted to be an engineer since junior high, but he could never decide on which field to study in because he adored each and every one of them.
