My report is about Euclid a famous mathematician but he was called the Greek Mathematician. He was born 260 B.C and died in 330 B.C.He was born in Tyro and raised in Damascus. He taught people in Egypt at the Alexandria library about his math he studied that we use today. They also called him the father of geometry. Because that was what he study and made so that’s why he is famous. He got this idea from a book called the thirteen volume book. It is a book about the geometrical Knowledge. All the famous mathematician use the book like some of the mathematician we can use for report. Euclid father was Naucrates and his grandfather was Zenarchus. He was active during the reign of Ptolemy I. The book was publication in the 100th or early 200th century. Euclid was the principle of what it is called today Euclidean geometry. Euclid had a know about life only a handful of references to him. They do not know how Euclid survived in his life time and he learned so one thing that we don’t know. Euclid worked hard on artist's imagination. A few historical things happen to him in his life time.

Proclus introduces Euclid only briefly in his fifth-century Commentary on the Elements. He as the author of Elements, that he was same by Archimedes. He the easier path to do learning geometry than of the
Elements. Then one of King Ptolemy said that there was no royal road to geometry. Although there was warning of Euclid to by Archimedes. But that got judged and fixed. I like the person I pick because he did a lot of things in his life time and some things we did still don’t no about him. I write about how elide lived. Some things about his life and a little about his family and
