Vigilante is an old fallout from the justice system not working in someone favor and then they tried to get even with said person that the justice system work for or even the justice system itself. Vigilante is the act of “any person who takes the law into his or her own hands, as by avenging a crime.”(Dictionary.com.).With this in mind most the idea of vigilantism is a glory now todays from movies, book, and most importantly Comic books about super heroes. But why do people resort to vigilantism? To avenge a crime as said early in the paragraph. This can lead to killing, lynching, and using the internet to get even. The main super hero that is the example of this is Super Man. Super Man is the Hero of all heroes in the comic book he never does wrong and he cannot be harm by anything but kryptonite! Super man was one of the first comic books to gain popularly about the prefect man giving justice to those who have none. This is the idea that many people get the word vigilantism. Which many people now don’t connection negative actions to Vigilantism because of super heroes! However a comic series called the watchmen showcase a large group of heroes trying to hunt down a murder that is knocking off heroes. With most of the heroes having different style of vigilant and why they do it. Each fellow a style some of the heroes are bash, aggressive and then shoot ask question later another being clam and deducted. But both style of vigilantism is a type in which a person can tell what going on and who doing it. This is another type of vigilantism which being more common are computer vigilantism, which been growing along style the internet. Their new style of vigilant style that came around because of the internet and it also was different from many other. The Internet vigilantism is different because most any one can do it and it can be done from anywhere that has an internet connection but it also makes the line blurry between vigilantism act and terrorism. One of the main reason that it hard to tell because something when computers are involved a lot of people don’t whole what hacking is.
