In the stories “Jumping Tree” and “The Ravine” the characters had to make a decision.Vinny is the character from “The Ravine” and Rey is the character from “Jumping Tree”. They both had to make a decision either to follow their friends and be a follower or follow his heart and be a leader. I think Vinny had made the best decision.

A example of Vinny being caring is when he told Starlene please please don’t jump I don’t want to see you to die.He carried for his safety and his friends safety. Another example is that when Starlene had jumped she didn’t come back up when she was under the water. He stood not breathing for 10 seconds...20 seconds…30 seconds. If he would have jumped he could have died.

Vinny was also brave.
