Dear Mr. Gregory,
Regarding our request to launch a project in partnership with the government to have an industry development on sinamay woven from processed pineapple stalks, we wish to submit the following report:
1. Advisability of launching this project. Launching this project will be helpful for the following reasons:
1.1 This will develop the pineapple industry and use of sinamay to produce products.
1.2 Since the project needs manpower, it provides job oppurtuities to people that needs source of income.
1.3 It will give farmers enough knowledge to be used in the future when the project period ends.
2. Exposition of the Plan
The plantation project will cover the area where the farmers plant their goods. Machineries will be posted in a safe place for security purposes. There will be two phases in this project: the pilot phase and the expanded phase. The pilot phase is the beginning of the project while the expanded phase is the undecided phase whether to expand the project or not. If the pilot phase is successful, then expansion of the project to a wider range and the activities done in the pilot phase is still acceptable but if the pilot phase fails, there will be no expansion and there will also be a change in the activities done because they were not effective to achieve the purpose of this project.
