Bullying in schools can be prevented. Bullying can be prevented by building a community of support , modeling appropriate responses and monitor your child online. In order for people to get a much understanding of bullying , one must understand what bullying is. Bullying has been an exceeding issue over the years. Preventing bullying can begin at home, as of bullying , harassment , and intimidation are defined in gesture or written or physical act that a reasonable person under the circumstances should know will have the effect of harming a pupil or damaging his or her property. Other adults or parents should teach positive , nonviolent ways to handle fear , anger and stress during bullying. A good example that can be set is by using firm but flexible discipline. Parents can start at home by taking the time to talk to their children , ask the children about their day by listening to them talk about school , social events , their classmates , problems they may have and address behavior. If a child comes home from school and asks there parent for help with a bully, there parents need to take it real seriously.
