For The past four years I have attended Montevallo high school. Throughout my time I have been involved in many clubs and organizations, and they have all impacted me differently.
In everything I was involved with in high school I always tried to make sure it was relevant to my future, but looking back now I realized I may have made a few mistakes, but for the most part I feel I did rather well staying on track.
In my time in high school, I was on both the volleyball team and track team. I played on the volleyball team all four years of high school, but I should of stopped after my freshman year. I enjoyed playing and I enjoyed my teammates, but it seemed my goals never aligned with my coaches and the enjoyment started to slip away as the…show more content… On the other hand, the only main min clubs I was apart of where the FFA and archery team. I have had the opportunity to travel and make friends of a lifetime through the FFA. It is because of the FFA I know the major I wish to pursue, the reason for over half of my scholarships for school, as well as the reasons I have my job. The FFA is also why I continued with archery for three years. After school, most of the active member would all hang around and shoot for about a hour before going home. I was rather disappointed when we did not have a team this year. Lastly, and perhaps the best choice I made through high school where my class choices. From my freshman year all the way to my joiner year I took mainly AP or honor classes, and going into my senior year I was preparing to take all AP classes. Learning about this I decided to just take the class across the streat at the university so I would for certain recive the college credit, and with all the classes I have taken by the start of fall classes I will be a sophomore in college. Looking back this was probably the best decision I made by far, but it did have its drawbacks.
