Chapter 6-
Explain the Peer-to Peer network and what are its advantages?
Answer –
In Peer to Peer network, network hosts don’t have a specific role. They provide specific services and also consume network services. We have hosts that will fulfill a variety of different roles, like one computer can have printer connected to it which is then shared on to the network. Another computer can have a large hard drive attached to it and everyone else is allowed to use the hard drive for data storage, modification etc. In Such network we have hosts that both provide and consume network services. In essence they function both as a Client and as a Server at the same time. The advantage of Peer to Peer network is the ease of installation. We can share our resources on the network and everyone can share the benefits. On the other hand is not very scalable.

The Peer-to-peer network are useful only for a network with fewer computers and are suitable for applications that do not require a high level of security as * There is a lack of security * The links in the network are not reliable * The system is not centralized, making the network administration difficult. * Network security has to be applied to individual computers on the network * Lack of centralized server to manage and control access of data. * Separate passwords are required by users for each computer in

Trustworthiness Is Beautiful to Behold

...Trustworthiness is Beautiful to Behold Introduction First impressions are of critical importance when two individuals interact. Within seconds, judgments have been made and opinions formed about each other even though neither person has any previous information regarding the other. Often, these perceptions are the results of past experiences and the information from other sources, formulated based on similarities between the person and these sources of information. For instance, many categorizations and stereotypes are created over a period of years from the information we receive from music, television, families, social media, and our peers. One of the most critical factors involved in this decision-making process, physical appearance, greatly influences how we view other people; individuals perceived as more attractive are assigned more positive characteristics. On the opposite end of the spectrum, unattractive people are greatly associated with more negative attributes such as untrustworthiness and incompetence. As Aronson suggests “since we have categorized a person as good-looking or homely, we tend to attribute other qualities to that person; for example, good looking people are likely to strike us as being warmer, sexier, more exciting, and more delightful than homely people.” (376). This is commonly referred to as the Physical Attractiveness Stereotype or the “beauty is good” stereotype. For the purposes of this paper, the relationship between attractiveness...

Respiratory Safety

...They require that the employer provides the employee with a certain type of respirator depending on the type of work the employee may be doing. There are many types of respirators but the two main types are the air-purifying respirators which use filters, cartridges, or canisters to remove contaminants from the air you breathe. Another is atmosphere-supplying respirators, which provide you with clean air from an uncontaminated source. They also can be classified as tight or loose fitting. The Tight-fitting respirators need a tight seal between the respirator and the face and neck of the respirator user in order to work properly. If the respirator's seal leaks contaminated air will be pulled into the face piece and can be breathed in. Loose-fitting respirators do not depend on a tight seal with the face to provide protection. Fit test are required for the tight-fitted respirators to ensure it is sealed to the workers face properly. An employer must measure the level of airborne contaminant present in your workplace; they use this information to determine the type of respirator which is called the Assigned Protection Factor also known as APF. Most of all I will never forget the feeling of love I had from my family and village. The only way I can explain it was as if I was being tucked into bed with a warm cozy fire burning next to me. Unfortunately I now find myself laying here in my cot shivering and shaking profusely covered in sweat with the images and horrors from just a mere few years ago still lingering in my mind like a pesky fly that keeps hovering around your face. I will never forget when death himself came upon us like a swarm of locusts and ripped the feeling of love and happiness from my arms. These men had the look of determination, hatred, and anger in both their eyes and faces. I hope I will never ever have to see the face of Satan himself again for as long as I shall live. Cross Cultural Communication Customs

...personal questions that would seem impertinent and/or irrelevant to most westerners. It is best to politely respond with the answers (your age, income or whatever) rather than take offence or try to inject humor into the situation. Another consequence is the Chinese attitude to contracts. It can be seen to demonstrate a lack of personal trust if a written contract is produced too early in a transaction. A negotiated contract may mean little more to a Chinese negotiator than a checklist of points or a sign of a developing relationship and it is common for clauses that appeared to be agreed to be re-opened. “Face” The concept of “face” is important. It is essentially a mark of status and dignity and it is important to respect the Chinese desire to maintain and gain face during negotiations. The same is true for dealing with subordinates in the office. Causing someone to lose face by belittling them or criticizing them in front of others can ruin a working relationship. Make sure you do not ask anyone to do a task that they may...

The Tell Tale Heart Film to Literature

...When asked, most people would say the book is better than the movie but film brings a clearer image to a story. The Tell Tale Heart is a story about a man who claims he has a disease but implies that because it has not dulled his senses, he cannot be called mad. He also points out his mental disorder actually caused his senses to become more acute. When he claims that he has heard things from heaven and hell, it gives away that his super human sensory is an illusion. He seems insane, he talks about an old man who he loves, but he can’t stand his eye or his heart beat. Before the end of the story he kills the old man. In the film there are characteristics that add to this story. The visualization, since you don’t have to imagine it, gives a greater impact. Film has the ability to add a lot of emphasis that make certain scenes stick out from the rest. This grabs attention. Some elements in film can’t be put into literature, an obvious one is actual sound. There are many different similarities in film and literature adaptions, but film brings unique qualities to a story that literature cannot. Film adaptation provides a physical visual for the events in the story. The film begins with a scene of the killer standing in a dark room while in a straightjacket. It's an erie start for the film. The killer is breathing heavily and opens his eyes slowly. This scene gives evidence that he is mad mentally and emotionally. This also makes it seem like the killer has objective. The killer...
