Task 1 Anil Rick
Family Anil has a loving family who are interested in his health and wellbeing. He has someone to talk to and play with; this will enable him to develop his speech, language and confidence in expressing his feelings and emotions clearly. Anil receives lots of love and care from his family members and this will help him develop high esteem and more confidence in himself. His dad provides all vital nutrients needed for his growth and development. Anil in is later life have chances of developing good habits and he is also aware of the behaviours expected of him which enhances his moral development. Anil`s parent are a big positive influence to him. Rick has a dysfunctional family who are not interested in his health and wellbeing. Both parents are drug and alcohol addicts and spend no time with him, which could affect his intellectual development such as speech, negotiation and confidence in expressing his feelings and emotions clearly. Rick`s parent cannot afford to provide him with the vital nutrients, which may affect his growth and development in his later life. He is unhappy and anxious to live with his parents and could lead to psychological problems. Rick`s parent are bad influence to him.
Nutrition Anil’s family provides him with all vital nutrients needed for his growth and development. Anil`s father is an excellent cook and produces him with well balanced meal, which will make him grow strong and healthy. He is unlikely to be sick, because of his good immune system. Intellectually his brain will develop normally and he will concentrate well in school. He has less chance of missing school, which will improve his learning abilities. Anil is likely to have more confidence in expressing his emotions and interacting well with others. Rick`s family provide him with food which is high in salt and fat, which could lead to malnutrition and this could affect his growth and development. In his later life Rick could suffer from diabetes, heart disease, obesity and it could even affect his immune system. Intellectually, he will be sick and wouldn’t be able to attend school regularly, emotionally it will lower his self esteem and he may end up losing contact with friends. Due to malnutrition, Rick might lack self confidence and would be unable to concentrate while in class.
Attendance in school Anil has a very good school attendance, and he has only had one week off school since he started. Anil`s has caring teachers who support him and he gets adequate support at home with his school assignments. His parents can afford to buy him book he needs, which enable him study well in school. Emotionally, Anil will have confidence in expressing himself and may likely to socialize more. Anil`s in his later life will further more with his education and will have high self esteem and develop good social skills. Rick attendance in school is poor as he suffers from colds and coughs regularly. Rick is getting inadequate support at home with his school assignments. His parent are not helping him with his school assignment as they do not understand much of his works and show little interest in his progress. He has chance of missing school, which can affect his learning abilities and him having low achievement and poor social skills. Rick`s in his later life may loss interest in further education and may end up being a school dropout like his parent.
Environment /
Housing Anil lives in a good environment, where the neighbours are respected and care about their neighbourhood. He has a garden where he plays and has enough place for his toys, computer and books. intellectual, Anil`s brain will develop well because his house is not crowded, which enable him to study well without stress and he get adequate support from his family. Emotionally, he has confidence in expressing his feelings, because he always has someone to talk to. Their neighbourhood is not rough and his free from gangster, and it’s easy for Anil` s to interact with children of his age because his parent create time for him to visit his friends in the park. Rick lives in a crowded block of flats on a rough housing estate. Rick`s mother let him hang around with older boys on the estate and they often get trouble. This can lead to bad influence for Rick, because they can introduced him to drugs, alcohol and he may end up running away from home. He doesn’t have a room he can play with his toys and read his books. the influence of the environment he lives can lead to bad influence and Rick may stop going to school. Emotionally, he is isolate and loneline and he may prefer to interact more with the older boys, than discussing with his parents who hardly have time for him.

Income Anil`s parent have a steady income, they are highly educated and have a very good job. Buying Anil`s textbook, toys, and computer will not be difficult for them. They also take him to visit the museums and can afford to buy him everything he needs physically. Intellectually Anil`s will develop normal, because they can afford to buy him the vital nutrient he needs for his growth and development. Anil in his later life will have more opportunities in teams of stead income because he will get all the support he needs from his family. Rick`s parents are on benefits, they are unemployed, and cannot afford to buy him toys, textbook and computer, which he needs to develop his brain intellectually. The little income they have they prefer to spend it on the drugs and alcohol. Socially, he may lose friends.
