Grammar does not equal only ’tenses’ or verb forms. Grammar is language and how we use it. What is more important than a definition of the word ’grammar’ is knowing what students need to know when they are learning grammar. And we also need to know different ways to teach grammar. There are many different methods to teach grammar, but the three that might be the most effective in retaining student interest are the following: 1. Situational Presentations 2.
