How to kick an Australian Rules Football?

My communication assignment was instructing the class how to kick, handball and bounce an Australian rules football.

First of all I showed the class how to kick a football, instructing where your hands should be, where you should place the football and how to follow through and kick the football. At the start I was fairly nervous but was fine when I started and I thought this part of my presentation was clear and informative.

The next part of my presentation was teaching the class to handball which was very easy as the only steps involved with handballing are holding the ball with your non preferred hand under the ball and clenching your fist with your preferred hand and basically punching the ball to where you want it to go. This was carried out correctly by most class members.

The final part of my communication assignment was to teach the class to bounce a football which is very easy but not so easy for students who don’t play football especially because the ball is an oval shape.
I showed them where to hold your hand and what position you want the ball to be in when it hits the ground. This was also done well by most students at the end of my presentation.

Overall I think my presentation was successful as I gave clear instruction and the class seemed to understand and carry it out correctly.
The main thing I did wrong was when I told the class to go out and practise the skills involved, I lost control of some students and they were being silly in some cases.
But when the students answered questions about me and gave me constructive criticism they seemed happy that I did a good job and that they were clear easy instructions given to follow.
