How could the strong personalities of the falcon, wasp, and raven ever work together? With the independence of the falcon, determination of the wasp, and selfishness of the raven, this collaboration seems almost impossible. However, in a harmonious land afar off, the unification of these creatures was necessary to keep the peace. The internally-contentious Favesp is the combination of the falcon, wasp, and raven created by the angry mother nature. This story depicts the unwillingness of our world to work through our differences and what could result if we fail to do so. In Hiraeth, a land in harmony with the spirit of its life and nature, animals were beginning to dispute for the first time. In desire to be revered, the three most superior creatures, the falcon, wasp, and raven, argued over who deserved the home of Mother Tree. Because of the stubbornness of these animals, what started out as a sophisticated debate soon turned into a vicious war. Fighting to the point of destruction and murder, Hiraeth was no longer a land of serenity and peace. No, what was once a place of unity and love, was now destroyed by malicious actions preceded by ignorant desires. When Mother Nature created her plan of resolution, she didn’t just randomly throw the animals together. She decided that assembling the most prideful characteristic of each animal was the only way to solve the problem to its very core. The sharp and determined look of the falcon’s eye shows its superiority and focus. The body of the wasp warns the other animals of its preparedness to harm.
