Family Change Assessment

The previous generation include my grandparent seemed to be larger than my father generation .For example my grandfather used to have three wives and he had with each wife two or three children that what make his family seems bigger or larger than my father generation .we are a big family as well I mean my parents have six kids and my uncle has just two, but if we look back to my grandfather family we can find over twelve people and that consider as a big family if we compare it to my parent generation. The big differences that I notice among this two generation are the amount of people in those families, one is smaller than the other, and this is due to several factors, like education, knowledge, the religion, the luck of media, and many others factors. When I asked my grandfather about what make him marry all this women’s and how he has all this children his answer was like that, “I had to marry so many wives because that was the style back then”, as a Muslim man to have more than one wife is so common back then all the man’s in his surrounding had more than one wife, so why don’t he had more? plus if you have a big family back then, that means that you are powerful because you can get help from your sons .More people in family means more people working and more money and power, but when I asked about education and health and clothes and all the necessity that any child need , he said “ we didn’t focus so much on them as far as all of them are healthy it was no worry for us”. My father answer was different than my grandfather answer.” He said he couldn’t have more children because the life nowadays is so much expensive plus how you can give attention to so many kids in one time plus more kids means more expenses, more food, more
