Why we shouldn’t eat fast food He pulls up in a McDonald’s drive-thru to order two big macs and a large fry. The cashier tells him that there are 83 grams of fat and 150 calories in the food he just ordered. People should not eat fast food in school because overtime it will make you gain an excessive amount of weight. There are numerous options of food besides fast food such as, salads nutrition bars, fruit, and vegetables. These are foods that will keep you healthy and will reduce the amount of fat you gain. Eating fast food can cause high cholesterol in one of the most important organs in the body, the heart. When you have high cholesterol there are foods you should not eat such as, sweets, salt, and greasy food. Researchers came to conclusions that eating massive amounts of fast food will cause high cholesterol. High cholesterol will cause other serious heart conditions as well. This means more medicine will have to be conducted for the heart to function properly.
Diabetes is another disadvantage people can get if they eat fast food on a everyday basics. Diabetes occurs when people have high blood sugar. This means this also cause more medication for the body to take in. Diabetes requires a person to have a very strict diet. Therefore fast food is not an option at all. Diabetes can also cause problems to the heart.
Obesity is a big problem as far a fast food is concern. When you become obese, a strict diet should come into play immediately. Obesity can make you have a stroke if you are not on the proper diet. Obesity is one of the leading weight problems children suffer from. Obesity could lead to serious health defects if it is not taken care of correctly.
So I think kids should not have fast food because it can lead diabetes, obesity, and high cholesterol. These are three health problems that are big around the country and
