[pic]I live at God stone Street and I have had a tough time lately. My grandad was a good man who was some body I could look up to and always knew the solution to every thing.

Saturday morning I was absolutely exhausted because it was my day of doing the laundry and I embraced the shirts into the washing machine but suddenly I recognised One of my shirts that my grandad gave me when I was seven years old. The shirt was from when I went to the zoo with my grandad and we saw some exciting animals such as elephants, my grandad fed them buns he said “do you want a shirt sonny.” He replied “yes please.” Then my granddad took a picture of me wearing the shirt.

I was walking to the bakery to buy a fresh loaf of bread I was on my way but then I saw a ring that shined like my grandad’s missing wedding ring, I remember this special day when there was lots of joy. The church was in east London it was a very nice Church called St Martins, I saw many of my relatives and there was and very nice priest who spoke very fine. My grandad walked in then his wife to be walked in, they got married.

I was very sad, so I decided to go home and rest until, I try not to think about my grandad who died.

Add in more detail – i.e. how did you feel? Did anyone say anything? Why else happened? What kind of day was it?

...The Atomic Bomb on Hiroshima and Nagasaki The World War II had been going on for over two years and the U.S. was staying in isolationism. But on December 7, 1941 Japan launched an attack on Pearl Harbor. After this The United States declared war on Japan.  On August 6, 1945, little boy, the first atomic bomb ever used in war was dropped on the city of Hiroshima.  This resulted in 70,000-80,000 people died immediately and another 70,000 were injured.  Hiroshima at the time was very large with roughly 350.000 people living there.  It was chosen because it had industrial and military significance.  Three days later it was followed by Fatman, the second and last atomic bomb used in war, which was dropped on the city of Nagasaki.   This resulted in over 40,000-75,000 immediately dying.  Originally Fatman was to be dropped on the city of Kokura, but because of the weather they decided to bomb their secondary target Nagasaki.  Nagasaki was important because it was one of the largest seaports in Japan and the large industrial activities including producing military equipment. Many things led up to the bombing of these two great Japanese cities.  The first event leading up to the bombing is World War II and Japans involvement in bringing the US out of isolationism.  After the bombing of Pearl Harbor the US was already furious with Japan and wanted revenge.  Another thing leading up to this event was Manhattan Project.  This was started in 1939 when the U.S., feared that the Germans...

Facing a third and thirteen Waterford's quarterback # 11 Isaac Huffman, dropped back to pass but the Southern secondary had everyone covered, causing Huffman to scramble and then head up field, where he picked up fourteen-yards to move the chains, with 5:50 left. Huffman would connect with, # 30 Braden Belville for a thirty-yard score, Belville easily broke a tackle, which allowed him to keep moving and then scoring. After another Southern penalty, Wterford converted a two point conversion, with Mccutcheon doing the honors, to make this a,15-7 game, with 4:22 left. Organic vs Inorganic

...Organic versus Inorganic Jeremy Merritt CRJ 311 Forensics Instructor Janice Bella March 4, 2013 Organic versus Inorganic Growing up as a kid I was forced to watch the television shows my parents enjoyed. During that era murder mysteries were extremely popular. Shows like Jake and the Fatman, Colombo, Matlock, and Murder She Wrote just to name a few. None of those shows relied heavily on science per say, moreover, those shows were written with the most insignificant clue becoming the one piece of evidence that is the key to the whole case. Just as dated as those television shows, so is the investigative practice. Present day, almost all investigative crimes involve the collection of forensic evidence that is broken down into two categories: organic versus inorganic evidence. This paper will detail the differences between organic and inorganic evidence, explain the strengths and weaknesses of each, and breakdown the significance of either organic or inorganic evidence as it travels through the justice system from the crime scene to prosecution. The way evidence collected can be broken down into two categories; organic and inorganic. According to Saferstein (2011), “Organic substances contain carbon, commonly in combination with hydrogen, oxygen, nitrogen, chlorine, phosphorus, or other elements. Inorganic substances encompass all other known chemicals substances. Each of these two broad groups has distinctive and characteristics properties (p. 123, Para 3). In laymen’s...

The Bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki

...The Bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki Pearl Harbor was bombed on December 7, 1941. An air attack led by Commander Mitsuo Fuchida, which consisted of 183 fighters and bombers, attacked Pearl Harbor at 7:55 a.m. During the bombing many ships were destroyed, and many soldiers died. This event would bring the United States into World War II. The Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor because it was considered the height of America’s Naval supremacy. Another reason is that the Japanese knew the United States would primilary be using the navy to attack them. Since the Japanese were trying to take over China, they knew it would be a bit easier for them to do it because it would be harder for us to get to Japan and stop them if they destroyed the American Navy in Pearl Harbor. Despite how far Japan was from Pearl Harbor, it was still closer then the rest of the United States. The Japanese fleet had to sail over 4,000 miles to launch airplanes to attack Hawaii. The Japanese were able to attack Pearl Harbor because America's intelligence community failed to notice them. Some reasons why it was hard for the American intelligence community to notice the Japanese on their long naval journey, was the Japanese would only travel at night and would not use any radio communication. Any form of radio interception was impossible (Truman). The Manhattan Project started when Albert Einstein left Germany to come to the United States to escape Nazi prosecution. A month after Einstein had left Germany he...
