Closing Ceremony
Jordan: Congratulations Nevada FCCLA on making this experience here in Orlando Florida such a fun and amazing national leadership conference. These past few days have been such a success. With everyone either competing or judging, all of you made this a successful conference. We hope that all of you have made new friends and fun memories to take home with you from Orlando.
Erik: this conference we had 55 events that we competed in. Will the people that competed come up to the front of the room. As you approach the microphone tell us your name, where you’re from, what you competed in and what you placed. “ANNOUNCE” thank you and congratulations to all who placed.
Britney: We would like to thank all of the advisers because of all their hard work. We wouldn’t be here if we didn’t have such amazing advisors because of them we experienced a tremendous growth in membership statewide. Nevada FCCLA achieved great success with this year’s campaign. Thank you advisors for all your dedication to bring us here to nationals.
Shania: Since FCCLA was founded it has reached many peaks, achieved many heights, and accomplished many feats. #Reality Check isn’t just this year’s theme, it is a fitting deception of who we are as an organization and how we approach each new day and each new adventure. When we look back at our history and marvel at all the great the things we have done as an organization there is one constant that has been the back bone of our history and success and that is our advisors and their service to FCCLA. Without our advisors we wouldn’t have accomplished all that we have over our 66 years.
Hannah: This fall will have so many exciting opportunities for leadership and career development. Don’t miss out on all the great activities Nevada FCCLA has in store for you. In October we will have the FLEX meetings. In November we have National Cluster right in our own state in Reno. You don’t want to miss out on that. We have state in Las Vegas in March. Then in July we have Nationals in Nashville. You don’t want to miss out on all the activities going on this year.
Alexis: We did an awesome job this year competing at State and Nationals but we want to do better next year though. That is why we encourage everybody to start working on their STAR events as soon as the school year starts again. So start looking over the Star events so you have one picked out by the time school starts. The earlier you start on them the better you will do and the better you do the better the score. Because we know that everyone wants to compete at nationals next year and take home a medal.
Maddie: As we close our ceremony your state officers would like to recognize all the graduating seniors for whom this was their final FCCLA conference. Whether this was your first year or your fourth we hope you have had a spectacular time and have gained the experience of a life time. Of course you can contribute to FCCLA beyond high school in our college division or as an alumni member. Thank you for all your contributions to FCCLA; good luck in your future.
BreeAnna: for the rest of us our journey continues. The successes of this year are just a taste of the full potential of our organization. Nevada FCCLA can be prepared for another fantastic year that is coming up. We thank you all for attending Nationals and encourage you to take part in what is coming up next year.
