Did you know that February 11th is one of the most compelling days for inventors? February 11th is known as National Inventors day, a day where we celebrate famous inventors! President Ronald Reagan proclaimed the first national inventors day on February 11, 1983. One inventor we remember is Isaac Newton. He was known for being a philosopher, astronomer, physicist, inventor, and scientist! His birthday is also celebrated on January 4th. The reason why the congress of the U.S. designated feb. 11 to National Inventors Day is because it is also the anniversary of Thomas Edison’s birthday who held over 1,000 patients as of National Inventors Day. If you did not already know Thomas Edison was known for creating the light bulb. Another Birthday

...[pic] 2009 Submitted by: Saurabh Kumar saurabhkumar.in@gmail.com +91 9764 88 3889 Project: Athavaya A complimentary plug-in module for class 5 Introduction “Education is the manifestation of the perfection already in man.” – Swami Vivekananda This project is intended to bring in light the scope to illustrate ways in which our school education stands and in which direction it should develop. It is not intended to be a coherent historical survey of this field, nor can it claim to be a balanced selection from theorists of current influence and future pathways. For this reason it seems useful here to clarify the lines of thought developed in the contents of this proposal, so that the reader can appreciate the context in which we must put our strategies and sincere efforts. An actual situation will be explored and real life experiences will be taken in, as well as problems, which might be thought more intrinsic to formulation of aims, content, methods (and so on) of a particular primary school education system. In the proposal I wish to create the context, take it through the framework of reasoning the context, bringing out relevance and defining the objective and the way to meet...

Laws Effecting Business

...1. Introduction 1.1 From the dawn of human civilization, we, human being are directly or indirectly dependent to each other. For our better living, we created family, then formed group/society, then country and international community. Each individual, each family, each group and each country are dependent on each other by some means. For the easy exchange of dependency, people introduced business. “Business is defined as the exchange of goods, services or money for mutual benefit or profit.” (Skinner and Ivanncevich, 1992, p.8) The organizations that involve in profit making activities are called business organizations. Business may be trade, commerce or industry. To make business organized, it must be governed by some rules and regulations which we call business laws. Each country has independent business laws. Business organizations must operate within the boundaries of laws and government regulations. 1.2 Laws have been developed not only to protect consumers but also to preserve competition. Government agencies enforce these laws at the federal, state, and local levels. Business firms that do not comply with the laws face fines and other penalties. 2. Aim The aim of this assignment is to give a general idea regarding the laws that affect business. 3. Scope In this assignment I have limited my focus on the laws of Bangladesh that affect business. However, I have also focused on some of the laws of USA, UK and India those affect business but not yet clearly...
