Speech This bill addresses immigration and laws to protect the citizens of the United States. The first part of the bill says that the secretary of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) would be required to craft a strategy to increase surveillance at all southern border sectors and to extend the existing barriers along the U.S.-Mexico border so that they total 700 miles of barriers/fencing.
