... Indoor Positioning using Sensor-fusion in Android Devices Abstract: This project examines the level of accuracy that can be achieved in precision positioning by using built-in sensors in an Android smartphone. The project is focused in estimating the position of the phone inside a building where the GPS signal is bad or unavailable. The approach is sensor-fusion: by using data from the device’s different sensors, such as accelerometer, gyroscope and wireless adapter, the position is determined. The results show that the technique is promising for future handheld indoor navigation systems that can be used in malls, museums, large office buildings, hospitals, etc. Keywords: Sensor fusion, accelerometer, gyroscope, compass, INS, GPS, Wi-Fi, indoor navigation, smartphone, Android, Nexus S Language: English Approved by: _____________________________________ Kamilla Klonowska, PhD, HKr Date Examiner SUMMARY In open air environment a GPS receiver is able to determine its position with very high accuracy. ...this era of globalization, internal factors of a state can produce some external impacts on other neighboring countries; which is commonly known as a “spillover effects” in political science. Some cases even become so much critical to solve, that the whole continent become affected by the problem. The impact of that ethnic conflict becomes so vulnerable, that the case has not been concealed nationally but also become an international phenomenon. In my case, the problem has become a huge threat to national and international security system. The hypothesis of the paper is to conducting possible security threat across the borders, particularly in the whole south-Asian region. The ethnic violence in Myanmar has some direct impact on social, political and economic processes at national and international levels. In fact, the conflict can result not only in destabilizing the trade and security of Myanmar, but also of the surrounding states. But my concern is focusing the ongoing security issue inside and across borders due to that conflict. That’s why, I think this is a very urgent matter to study and its totally connected with the problem of IR. (Koser 2005, pp- 12) International communities could not able to present perfect legislation or implement new constitution for that particular case so far in order to address the problem of security threat and securitization of migration. ...attributes, as you would when thinking about someone you have met. As the focus is on customer relationships, the Nokia personality is like a trusted friend. Building friendship and trust is at the heart of the Nokia brand. And the human dimension created by the brand personality carries over into the positioning strategy for the brand. Nokia Positioning When Nokia positions its brand in the crowded mobile phone marketplace, its message must clearly bring together the technology and human side of its offer in a powerful way. The specific message that is conveyed to consumers in every advertisement and market communication (though not necessarily in these words) is "Only Nokia Human Technolgy enables you to get more out of life" In many cases, this is represented by the tag line, "We call this human technology". This gives consumers a sense of trust and consideration by the company, as though to say that Nokia understand what they want in life, and how it can help. And it knows that technology is really only an enabler so that you-the customer-can enjoy a better life. Nokia thus uses a combination of aspirational, benefit-based, emotional features, and competition-driven positioning strategies. It owns the "human" dimension of mobile communications, leaving its competitors wondering what to own (or how to position themselves), having taken the best position for itself. Nokia Product Design Nokia is a great brand because it knows that the essence of the brand needs to be reflected...

...Foreword I do not claim to have read the manuscript Of Changes and Transformations: Bangladesh Bank [July 2009-June 2013] highlighting changes the central bank has gone through in the past four years, but certainly had a cursory look at it. The publication of the book is of great significance at a time when the present government has just completed its four years in office. I welcome this initiative by Bangladesh Bank. I would like to thank Governor Dr. Atiur Rahman and others concerned with the project. The effort put in by the editors and their team of script writers to enrich the volume is certainly praiseworthy. I am extremely delighted to have the opportunity to write few words upon the book. Here I would like to touch upon the key aspects of the revolutionary changes that I have witnessed in Bangladesh Bank during the past four years. Firstly, digitization has taken place rapidly in the central bank and the whole banking sector was quick to follow suit. Secondly, mobile banking has been introduced and expanded significantly. This process will come its fruition with the introduction of PayPal payment system. Thirdly, revolutionary changes have taken place in CSR. Fourthly, Bangladesh Bank has achieved commendable success in financial inclusion program. Bangladesh Bank's role in involving the mass people into financial activities is undeniable. Finally, the establishment of Currency Museum is a great initiative of Bangladesh Bank. I would now like to say a few words on the...

...ASA University Review, Vol. 4 No. 1, January–June, 2010 Housing Real Estate Sector in Bangladesh Present Status and Policies Implications Suborna Barua* Ali Haider Al Mamun Mridha** Rezwanul Huque Khan** Abstract The real estate sector is the growth centre for the development of an economy. Bangladesh, being one of the densely populated nations in the world, has been experiencing severe of houses shortage for its citizens. Although majority of the population is segmented into the middle and the low income groups, still housing for all 1has been a fallacy in Bangladesh. The private sector housing real estate developers have met a small proportion of the national housing demand in the last more than twenty years. The gap between demand and supply is still joy wide. Despite inadequate policy preparations, these real estate developers have been successfully making business although the middle and the low income households are still untapped. With the larger proportion of people living in this income group, the private housing real estate sector has a huge scope to grow in this country. The positive notion is supported by many key indicators such as increasing house rent, inadequate and costly land, easier financing availability and more. To pave the way for the organic development of the industry, the problem of long existent inadequate financing availability at lower burden of terms and costs must have to be removed immediately, and wider scope has to be created for Non-Resident...
