Early childhood programs are among the hotly debated topics but with good reasons. How enough is formal and informal learning to benefit young children? Under which settings are our young ones equipped to behave exemplary, learn better and their minds braced up for the opportunities and challenges education presents? This paper therefore explores the nutrition, safety, health and physical fitness surrounding the programs and its resources to attain maximum benefits obtained by the children.

Health and safety
Some needs should be atleast our priority if not our second nature. Protecting our young ones from neglect, abuse and health hazards is imperative in operating such a program. To start us off is the indoor environment as this is the place they spend most of their learning time. The programs were reasonably up to the task as the classrooms were sparklingly clean and physically accessible. My practical observation saw me discover that the 2 programs boast approximately 37 square feet per child of the usable classroom space activity excluding the lockers, bathrooms and hallways.
The classroom management was top-notch with the spaces nicely divided; from private visible area, pathways, storage areas to spaces meant for playing individually or together in appropriate groups. The rest, sleep and eating areas and periods are strictly observed, ostensibly to create a good time with children. The sleeping area, free form restraints, is well arranged and the pathways eligible for quick emergency evacuation. Each child is entitled to his/her own clean sleeping materials and if your child is known to be sleep-repellant worry not you! There is an area specifically set aside for such children.
Another un-crowded area is the eating area inclusively arranged of all participants. The feeding tables and chairs are disinfected before and

...that time. We weren’t able to see compradors since all three of them take their products themselves from the suppliers. Most of them get their products from Dalaguete. We conducted an interview with each of the retailers. After Alcoy, we headed to Mantalongon, Dalaguete market. There were only 2 stalls of meat products there. One stall gets their supply from Alegria. People there were so nice and accommodating. They were so kind in answering our questions. Next stop was Dalaguete market. There were 8 retailers of meat and poultry but only one gets the products from Alegria. After the interview, we had lunch and head our way home. It was such a great experience for me since it was my first time to conduct a real and serious research. It wasn’t only learning but also experiencing and having fun. We heard real life stories and experiences from our interviewees. We were so amazed how they answered all our questions with smiles. It was also a great honor for me to work with Ms. Ivy Jumao-as, our kind and smart instructor, and Dr. Larry Silapan from BA Department who was also kind and generous to us. And I had the best group mates ever. The trip was so fun with...

Field Experience Essay

...Shadowing the athletic director at my high school alma mater gave me the greatest experience I could ever asked for. Not only that I gained some experience, but I managed to expand and learn new skills during the field experience. Some of the highlights that I would like to point would be learning about the eligibility system and creating schedules for the high school sports team that happened around fall and winter. I managed to go to every sporting event and introduce myself to other athletic directors. Another highlight would be getting along with the faculty and coaches on the campus and getting to know them a lot better, especially the Principal. And lastly, I got a taste of the facility management field and how to take care of the sports facility at the school. It was great a privileged to be working aside with the athletic director, and the assistant athletic director. Not only was it a great privileged but an opportunity to network and meet new people. I managed to get an internship at FIU thanks to one of the coaches at my high school. I also want to...

...I have learned throughout this class and throughout my field experience that incorporating music, art, and movement into the daily routine and core subject areas can be a great tool in helping with many things, including behavior management and comprehension. I started my field experience at the end of January 2018 and finished at the beginning of April 2018. I went to my field experience classroom about 3 to 5 days a week, and I went during their reading block from 8:00AM to 10:00 AM. I learned a lot about many different things during my field experience, including some things that I will use and some things that I will not use in my future classroom. One of the most important things that I learned from my field experience is to incorporate...

...I had a fulfilling experience doing my stage at Clearpoint Elementary. I learnt a great deal from my CT, the students, and the staff, whom all influenced my philosophy of teaching. I was welcomed with open arms and instantly became apart of the education team at this elementary school. During my second field experience, I was able to observe my cooperating teacher and her partner create an IEP for a student. Both educators collaborated to come up with techniques and adaptations that could be implemented in the class to improve this students learning and ensure that they are provided with an equitable opportunity to succeed in the classroom. I noticed that both teachers listened closely to each others ideas and as a result of their strong positive...

Field Experience Reflection

...I believed this was a good quote in writing this paper on my Field Experience Reflection observation #1. Here in order for educators to have an effective plan for his or her lesson, or unit of lessons, we must first determine what we want the students to achieve. For example, in history, we want them to understand situations in the past and achieve the standards that are given to us by the state. However for Math we need to look at how we will be able to determine if the student understood the material and if they are able to synthesize their thoughts into a complete product. Second, in doing this paper I am also showing how the educator was able to decide the various ways he wanted the students in this class to produce, comprehend, and process information that was being taught in the Math material. Finally, in reading my paper I want my reader to know, “we as instructors need to start each planning to meet the objectives in teaching a lesson to our student/students....

...As nursing students, our training is not limited to one area because we are expected to function in all areas of the hospital. The period given for each area of training is, suppose to readily equip us for optimal functioning in the settings if given the opportunity to work there. I do not think that it is a problem to continuously orient us because the experience is knowledgeable and crucial to our training. I am a psychiatric nursing student and I still have to be generally trained. The experience gained from being in different areas in a clinical setting has thought me more than when I am sitting behind my computer or in a classroom. These innovations are not helping to build healthy nurse-client relationships, just more negligence. In my opinion, I believe this will cause an increase in the already high cases of injuries and deaths caused in the healthcare system. I think that the staff will be lazy and negligent. Staff will expect this machinery to do the majority of their job, leaving patients in the care of the machines and barely supervising them. The computer-based systems mainly deal with physical problems but what about the patient’s mental status. In the clinical...

...Field Experience #3 A routine is like a schedule, you go through it often in the same order. Like a routine, a ritual follows a specific order, but it does not happen often. Rituals happen on certain occasions such as easter or other holiday. The first day I went to observe the 18 month olds, they were doing an easter party. They had a special schedule for this day that was meant only to be done on their Easter celebration. The next time I went, the teacher had the children back on the regular schedule, which is their daily routine. I observed their daily routine. The teacher started by showing me the schedule, and then explained the reason the schedule was built that way. One routine they did was they danced to music before moving to another...

...1. Describe in a paragraph a recent teaching experience you are making a connection to (i.e., Explain the event, not the connection): In my Level 2 Field Experience, I noticed that when my mentor teacher wanted her students to be quiet, she would just stand there and look at them until they all noticed that she was waiting for them to stop talking. Once they had noticed she was waiting there, they would start to listen. I also noticed that some students would try to help their classmates out by getting their attention and holding their pointer finger up by their mouth to get them to stop talking. It took quite some time for the whole class to realize that they needed to be quiet, but in the end the gestures always worked. 2.
