In the Sword of Shannara, Flick and Shea continue on their adventures to save the Sword from Brona at Paranor. Just before they began their expedition, leaving the refuge of Culhaven, Allanon explains to them and Menion the imperativity of this quest. Claiming that Shea is the only remaining member of the legendary House of Shannara, descended from the great Jerle Shannara, his assertions are more than slightly hard to believe for the three, and quite frankly, the reader as well.
He has insofar not delivered any evidence that this is true whatsoever, only giving way to more suspicion. My intuition is giving way to a new theory (apologies in advance), that either Shea is not the descendant of Jerle Shannara, or there is no house of Shannara.…show more content… Since he is one of Brona's opposers philosophically and politically, he could very well be clouded by his purpose or duty to wage a new war to win the Sword, as to blind him to Brona's intentions.
