Throughout the world there are many up and coming athletes, as well as current athletes and professionals who aren’t currently utilizing their full potential. When we are talking about potential within athletes we are concerning ourselves more so with their ability to perform efficiently on and off the field. Whether it is through strength, cardiovascular, and muscular endurance, all athletes are required for the extra push, and in some cases the “abnormal extra” when performing at the professional level. Our first range of test that’ll be conducted are one-repetition maximum tests. This will give us a better understanding of the athlete’s strength. Some exercises include the bench press, squats, and the power clean. These results from the bench press and the squat will tell us how much weight is Bobby able to push out as he is on the line. The power clean is another great testing measurement to get a clear depiction of how freely does Bobby’s joints move, as well as how strong is his explosive power for the line. Other exercises to be conducted are more in the genre of muscular endurance. Muscular endurance at Bobby’s stature is critical. The YMCA Bench Press Test and sit ups is where we can fully understand Bobby’s abilities. This will allows us to delve into his ability as to whether Bobby can not only have the strength necessary, but he can maintain the level of intensity for elongated plays.
