Provide answers to three of the following questions based on your readings and your personal experiences. Answers should be 100-to 150-words each.

1. If you find errors on your credit report, what steps would you take to correct them? 1. Tell the credit reporting company, in writing, what information you think is inaccurate. Credit reporting companies must investigate the items in question — usually within 30 days — unless they consider your dispute frivolous. They also must forward all the relevant data you provide about the inaccuracy to the organization that provided the information. After the information provider receives notice of a dispute from the credit reporting company, it must investigate, review the relevant information, and report the results back to the credit reporting company. 2. Tell the creditor or other information provider in writing that you dispute an item. Many providers specify an address for disputes. If the provider reports the item to a credit reporting company, it must include a notice of your dispute. And if you are correct — that is, if the information is found to be inaccurate — the information provider may not report it again. If an investigation doesn’t resolve your dispute with the credit reporting company, you can ask that a statement of the dispute be included in your file and in future reports. You also can ask the credit reporting company to provide your statement to anyone who received a copy of your report in the recent past. You can expect to pay a fee for this service.

2. There are many organizations that

...I was born and raised in Arkansas with 1 brother and 2 sisters. I graduated high school and entered college and after 2 years decided to move to Texas (only for the summer). I have 1 child and a precocious and happy 23 month on grandson, whom I am trying to teach to call me GiGi as I am WAY to young to be called GRANDMA!! . I ended up living in Austin, Texas for 12 years before moving to New York City to pursue my hand as an actress. While in Austin, I began singing with local bands and performing as an actress in regional musical theatre. I have been working in the entertainment arena for the last 12 years in which I have had the privilege of traveling throughout the U.S. and internationally and having the opportunity of making new friends and experiencing different cultures. I moved to California in 2003 working as an extra in many TV sitcoms and movies, only to head back to NYC in 2005. My biggest/little success was becoming a member of the original cast in the Toronto “Hairspray” production and also portraying “Oprah Winfrey” on an episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live! in 2009. After the grueling task of rejection began to take a toll and the struggle more demanding, I just recently decided to hang up the towel. I am very honored and nervous about taking another journey in this new chapter of my life. It is now time for me to pay it forward and give back to my community, where in early years, I thought I didn’t have the time! Here’s looking forward to a new adventure...

Fp101 Week 5

...Week 5 Assignment Week 5 Student Loan Summary If you borrow too much debt you may end up having to file for bankruptcy or end up having bad credit. It can also make you have a job you are unhappy in or work more than one job to pay off your debt. Another thing about borrowing too much is the stress it may cause on you from trying to pay it off. The best way to avoid this is to have a budget and stick to the budget, only borrow what you can pay back. I have been working for a while on clearing my credit and part of this has helped me obtain a student loan in which I am already paying on. My plan to pay this back is to use some money that I have from my grants and I also plan on paying on them while I am in school like I am already doing. I feel that by paying for them while I am in school is a great way to avoid getting in debt after school. I have a friend who has been out of school for 13 years and she is still paying on her student loans. A positive thing I am doing to help keep my student loan under control is to have a plan and budget and sticking to that plan and budget. Once I am out of school and working I will sit down and look at my budget and the money coming in and make any changes to my plan and budget. I am hoping to have my loans paid off before my 6 month grace period is...

...Introduction to University Studies class helped me realize how to create a plan of action for education and professional success by reflecting on lessons learned throughout this course. I would like to touch base on my favorite topics throughout this class and discuss my further plans in my professional life. Discussion * In the following sections I discuss my course reflections of US101 that include my long-term results in completing a degree, the proper use of tools and assessements, stress and time management, critical thinking and academic writing. I will discuss how I intend to apply these skills into my professional life. * Long –term results in completing a degree * For many high school students, it is hard to imagine what the long term benefits of a college education might be. I was one of them. I knew in the back of my head that college education is important and good to have, but was not very serious about it. My point of view changed when I had my two kids. I realized that without a proper education and a degree, I would not be able to get a high paying job with benefits. In college, my most important task is to learn and begin to take charge of my life by making my own choices. In fact, what I am expected to do is more than likely exactly what I would like to do: learn more about intriguing subjects. Before entering the workplace, it is a good idea to take advantage of this opportunity for social growth and learning. The fact that I’ll be building a career...
