Competition:
The business idea proposed above will have a huge advantage to its benefit because of the fact that there are almost zero indoor games offered by Bahria itself and neither at the day of BAZAR, we only see a table tennis and that too attracts a very less number of students. Our focus is to give the students a chance to do something interactive and have a little fun and laugh with their friends in order to get a break from the hectic routine.
Marketing:
Marketing will play an important role and add value to our venture by attracting customers. Marketing will include the basic uses of advertising and public relations. We’ll be using posters and invitation to inform and invite our fellow students and respectable faculty members. And the use of social media websites will indeed be the best source to communicate about our service.
Costing:
A tentative list of the games that we will have at the stall with the prices and the quantity, there is still room for error and addition of more games depending on the sublets.
The sublet expenses will be borne by the student as it will be his own material, we will provide him with space and as per our agreement he’ll pay us a rent of Rs 2000/- and share a 10% of the total profit with us. S.no | Item | Quantity | Price | total | 1 | Football Table | 1 table | Rs 2000/= | Rs 2000/= | SUBLET EXPENSE # 1 | 2 | Ludo | 2 boards | | 3 | Chess | 1 board | Not discussed upon as it won’t be of our concern. The above mentioned are subject to change as mentioned they are still tentative and will be informed duly with prior notification.

POSITIONING:
The only retail stall that will bring to you an experience packed with fun and joy to make your day a bit more exciting by bringing some of the most adored indoor games. The games will include football table, ludo, chess, card games, dice games and many more.
That’s not all, we know that people are crazy about photography and that’s why we’re bringing a photo booth just for you. Where the students get to show off their fun and crazy side, while we capture those moments for them. Sounds fun doesn’t it. An offer that one can’t resist.
TARGET AUDIENCE:
Our main focus of target audience would be the students of Bahria University. But we will welcome any faculty and management member with full warmth and heart.
MARKETING MIX:
PRODUCT: We are offering the students of Bahria University with a service for playing games at our stall where they will be able to play all sorts of games and also take pictures with their friends. Our main focus will be on indoor games as discussed in the core business idea.
PLACE: We’ll be placing our stall at the center area of the bazar, that will grant us the space and the attention required for our service in order to attract maximum number of customers.
PRICE: The pricing strategy chosen here will be the penetration strategy which will ensure maximum number of customers by offering lowest prices. Our pricing strategy will serve us in a very effective manner as per our calculations.
PROMOTION: We’ll be promoting our brand through the use of social media, text messages, public relations and posters that’ll be pasted at different locations in the University Campus.
PEOPLE: The two group members will be handling the main core business service of the football table. One member will be handling the till and the receipt exchange and the other will be in charge of ensuring a smooth running gameplay.
On the other hand the sublets will have their own representatives, who’ll be handling the other games and the photography side. But the same group member will be responsible for receipt exchange and cash related affairs, because we will have one cash counter for all the activities working under our stall.
PROCESS: The business process is extremely flexible and easy to handle. One of the group members will be transporting the football table a few hours before the BAZAR commences. Both of the group members will be actively participating to set up the stall and decorate it accordingly.
Group member B (Bilal) will be handling the cash register for the core business and the sublets as well. He’ll also maintain a proper accounts register whereas A (Aleem) will be handling the customers and ensure proper receipts are maintained.
The other group member will then ensure that both of the sublets are present in the university with their promised equipment and all set for the ultimate showdown.
At the end of the day both group members will deal with the costing and profit sharing with the sublets and pay the rent for the football table and transport it back safely to where it came from.
PHYSICAL EVIDENCE: The outlook to our stall will be filled with colors as it is our theme and most importantly our brand element as shown in the logo. We’ll decorate the stall with different shapes drawn on chart papers and also ensure that we have a spacious area to set up our game zone.
REVENUE STREAM: GAME | QUANTITYSINGLE PLAYER | PRICE | ESTIMATED OUTPUT | Football Table | 100 students | Rs 20/- | Rs 2,000/- | Ludo and chess | 50 students | Rs 15/- | Rs 750/- | Card games | 70 students | Rs 25/- | Rs 1,750/- | Dice games | 80 students | Rs 20/- | Rs 1,600/- | Darts | 50 students | Rs 15/- | Rs 750/- | Water coin | 100 students | Rs 15/- | Rs 1,500/- | Balloon popping | 200 students | Rs 10/- | Rs 2,000/- | TOTAL | Rs 10,350 |

GAME | QUANTITYDouble PLAYER | PRICE | ESTIMATED OUTPUT | Football Table | 50 teams | Rs 40/- | Rs 2,000/- | Ludo and chess | NA | NA | NA | Card games | 20 teams | Rs 40/- | Rs 800/- | Dice games | 20 teams | Rs 40/- | Rs 800/- | Darts | 30 teams | Rs 30/- | Rs 900/- | Water coin | 30 teams | Rs 30/- | Rs 900/- | Balloon popping | 25 teams | Rs 20/- | Rs 500/- | TOTAL | Rs 5,900/- |

Revenue – total (tentative) expenses: 16,250 – 4,575 = Rs 11,675/-

MARKETING & SELLING PLAN:
Our marketing plan will be to personally invite each and every faculty member and people from the management and the administration in which we’ll be giving invitation cards, depending on the relation with the other person.
We’ll be pasting our posters at every corner where necessary and especially those spots which are frequently visited by the students and are visible to the students. The posters will be designed in such colors that’ll attract the eye or in other words is eye catching.
Both of the group members will be visit every class in the university to communicate about the retail brand and also persuade or convince students to visit our stall. This task can’t be completed in a day so both of the group members will divide the classes to be visited in 2-3 days and then complete the task accordingly.
Selling plan will be to attract the customers through the physical evidence and also add a little touch of music to it. Both of the members along with the sublet individuals will try to create a hype about the stall to gain people’s attention. That hype could be some prominent and visible game plays and some shouts and announcements to seek the student’s attention. Once done we’ll request the customers if they can bring more friends and offer them a free give away (Gifts).

Franchises

...Franchises & Business Plans What is a franchise? Using examples from the real world, explain three advantages to the franchiser and to the franchisee. A franchise is where a business with a well-known brand name (the franchisor) lets a person (the franchisee) or a group of people set up their own business using that brand. This is in exchange for an initial fee and continuing royalty payments (a certain percentage of turnover or profit) for as long as the franchise lasts. A franchise is not a type of legal structure in itself. The liability for the person using the franchise depends on the how the business is established. A franchisee can choose which legal structure to adopt, although the franchisor may recommend a type. They have unlimited liability if they are in business as a sole trader or partnership but have limited liability if they set up the franchise as a company. Advantages for the franchiser: * The firm does not have to spend a large amount of money in order to expand * The products necessary for the franchise to operate are under the franchisers direct control * Issuing franchises should generate a continuous stream of revenue from franchisees who are determined to succeed Disadvantages for the franchiser: * The control it has over the product is not as great as if the business sold the product itself, bad publicity from a franchisee could affect the brand image * Franchisers have to offer continuous support, training and development and...

A franchisee is a business or person who has the right to trade as a franchise no one else has the right. A franchisor is a business that is very success full and that can give the right of franchise to other new businesses to use their label. However some of the profit must be given to the franchisor. Avoiding a Bad Franchise

...Dollinger (2008), a franchise is defined as “a marketing system by which the owner of a service, trademarked product, or business format grants rights to an individual for the local distribution and/or sale of the service or product. A franchise is a way for new entrepreneurs to start a business that already has name recognition. According to an Entrepreneur magazine article in 2014, the minimum investment required can range from $3000 to over $1 million, depending upon the franchise. While some of the more popular franchises have a reputation for success, others are not as appealing (Radenhausen, 2014). This article examines the warning signs to look for when deciding upon the type of franchise to open. It is imperative that one research a potential franchise opportunity thoroughly. This should involve discussing the franchise with current franchisees, reviewing disclosure and financial information, and talking with the franchisor about the support and training provided. According to Radenhausen (2014), there are six negative scenarios to be aware of when researching a franchise investment opportunity. * Bad word of mouth. The idea behind purchasing a franchise is to have instant brand recognition. If the franchise does not have a great reputation, the purchase of the franchise would be useless and a waste of money. * Conflicting FDD information. The franchise disclosure document (FDD) contains all of the pertinent information regarding a franchise. A lawyer is...

Subway Franchise

...Subway Franchise Course Instructor’s Name 11 August 2012 Subway Franchise The franchise concept has several advantages for both the franchisor and the franchisee. For the franchisor, offering a franchise arrangement means an easy access to capital formation brought about by the investments of franchisees (Om Sai Ram Center for Financial Management Research, 2006). Furthermore, it provides incremental income for the franchisor through royalty payments. Another advantage of the franchise concept is that it makes possible a faster expansion program for the franchisor supported by motivated distributors in the person of the franchisees (Om Sai Ram Center for Financial Management Research, 2006). The franchisees stand to benefit too from a franchise agreement. The franchisee gets to experience entrepreneurial autonomy using a proven concept, often with extensive recognition of the brand name (Om Sai Ram Center for Financial Management Research, 2006). The franchisee also benefits from the training programs provided by the franchisor, coupled with continuing supervision of the store. Although there are advantages to owning a franchise, franchisees are faced with disadvantages too. Decision-making is quite limited since the franchisee should follow the guidelines set by the franchisor (Om Sai Ram Center for Financial Management Research, 2006). In terms of purchasing, the franchisee is forced to purchase supplies and equipment from the franchisor...
