“The Circuit” by Francisco Jimenez was a story that some people can relate to. Panchito’s, the main character, family were migrant workers. The story showed how Panchito’s normal life is, and some struggles. He moves a lot. I chose to view this story as a window, because this helps me understand how other people live. It also teaches me to savor what we have in life, because some people aren’t as lucky as us. Panchito’s life is so much more different than mine is. Panchito has to work in the fields for around 12 hours a day, or go to school, and be the new kid. In “The Circuit,” it says, “Around nine o'clock the temperature has risen to almost one hundred degrees… Mr. Lema, the sixth grade teacher, greeted me and assigned me a desk.” I go
