Freshman year held nothing worthy of note, contrary to what people say about entering high school. It was a transitional year at best, the year where everyone tries their best to find their places in the grand, not-so-cosmic scale of secondary education's social hierarchy. For even in the least sizeable communities, such as my school with it's meager two sections per high school year level and the rare four sections of grade school years, there still seems to be social standings. I would elaborate on the topic, however, I wasn't aware of them until I graduated and reminisced upon the days goneby.
