There are some dilemmas facing Frito Lay; passing along prices to consumers when prices are raised for operational cost; such as, logistically bringing the potatoes to market to the factories to process. When fuel prices go up, how does Frito Lay off set that to a consumer? To offset fuel prices, the company can watch overhead and overtime at the factories. I would do this instead of going up on the prices of the product. Frito Lay does not offer a lot of healthy snacks other than Sun Chips and Baked Lays for their consumers that are watching their weight. I would suggest that their CRM team do a survey and find out what their consumers are looking for so they can cater to a new group of people. Some of their competition consistently have lower
